A sweet congratulations card for expecting parents, using techniques I learned from Nadia at http://www.withglitteringeyes.blogspot.com/2013/05/its-all-about-perspective-tutorial-and.html

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Cricut Cardstock
  • Copic Markers
  • Baby Cardstock
  • Flutterbys
  • Buttons
  • Pop Dots
  • Inks
  • Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Graphite
  • Crystals

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Create an easel card using your chosen colors. Ink the edges of the papers. Cut the Baby Image at 3.5 twice. I used white American Crafts Cardstock. Color the baby's skin with copics markers. I used E0000, E000, E01, E93 and R20. I also added some toes and dimples to the baby's legs and feet.
I cut the feet and head away from the diaper. and used it as a layer for the baby. More details are on my blog. I popped them up in various places as per a tutorial I saw on a fellow Cricut member's blog.
I computer generated a sentiment and adhered it to the base. I used buttons, crystals, flutterbys and a butterfly sticker to embellish it. Usually I would cut a butterfly with my Cricut, but I was pressed for time and used a sticker from my stash.
