OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Cardstock
  • Patterned Paper

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Using a 12x24 mat I cut the Shopping Bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More at 11 1/2 inches. Assembled according to directions in booklet.
Using the Ribbons and Rosettes Cartridge I cut out the hearts for the eyes and nose. For the lips I used A Child’s Year.

For the eyes: 2 red hearts at 2 ¼ inches, 2 white hearts at 1 ½ inches, 2 pink hearts at 1 inch.
Glue the pink hearts on top of the white hearts. Then glue the white hearts on top of the red hearts.

For the nose: 1 heart at 1 ¼ inch.

For the lips: Cut the Vlntines image out at 2 inches. (this is really a valentines card).
For the arms:

Take a patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.

Cut 2 hands from Kate’s ABCs at 2 ¾ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.

For the legs:

Take patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 ½ inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.

Cut shoes from Paper Doll Dress Up at 1 ½ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.
For the hair, cut strips of patterned paper ½ inch by 6 inches. Fold in the fan formation.
Using adhesive attach each arm to sides of the bag then attach the legs from the bottom of the bag so that the legs dangle.
