Follow instructions in step a for inking edges and aligning characters to all the following pages: • Adhere white Minnie page cutout to front of Minnie base page and red Minnie page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere red Pluto page cutout to front of Pluto base page and yellow Pluto page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere yellow Ears page cutout to front of Ears base page and red Ears page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere red Donald page cutout to front of Donald base page and white Donald page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere white Daisy page cutout to front of Daisy base page and red Daisy page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere red Goofy page cutout to front of Goofy base page and yellow Goofy page cutout to back of base page. • Adhere yellow Hand page cutout to front of Hand base page and black Hand page cutout to back of base page. c. - Assemble cover a. To create cover, measure 3” from left and right edges of rectangle (not hearts) on Cover base page created in step 15 and score along these lines. Fold in at score lines to create front and back (heart) covers with a ½” spine in between. b. Adhere red front and back page cutouts to inside of cover page base, leaving a small space at spine fold. Ink edges with black inkpad. c. Adhere white front and back page cutouts to outside of cover page base, so it lines up with the spine. Ink edges with black inkpad. d. When the glue gun reaches the correct temp (high heat setting) apply thin, but complete coverage of hot glue to inside of spine, taking care to not go over the scored edges of the spine. b. Carefully insert pages into spine, lining up the bottom of the pages and the left sides to spine. c. Tap the assembled book on a hard surface to make sure all pages are lined up properly and seated firmly into the spine. d. Insert book, spine side down into the top of the YourStory machine and hit bind arrow again – it will begin to flash. e. After a little over a minute you will hear a beep and the arrow will stop flashing. f. Carefully remove book from the YourStory, and once again tap the spine on a hard surface to make sure the pages are seated properly. g. Place book, spine-side down into cooling rack on back of YourStory and leave it there for approximately 5 minutes to allow the glue to cool and harden.
