GREAT MACHINE!!
I bought the Black Friday bundle and all I can say is WOW!! I updated my machine with Cricutsync, no problems, it's easy to use, and cuts better than my Expression. I use it with my Gypsy, great for laying out projects that you'd want to do over and over again like birthday cards or flowers. I love that I can use RGB codes for matching papers and making paper pieced die cuts like the Disney princesses. LOVE IT. Gave it 4.5 stars because it doesn't hold the mat in place once it's done cutting - it ejects it onto the floor. Otherwise, it's great!

I love it.
I have 5 boys and felt so overwhelmed with trying to make all of their scrapbooks. This machine makes it so much easier and faster. Coordinating paper and art is very useful. Cartridges for birthday parties is an even better thing. I am glad that my husband got it for me at Christmas.

Bought and Imagine last year and that's when it started. The More cartridge I received with it didn't work; they sent me a new one, now my software was out of date (actually I didn't have any, my version was '0000......'. then the 'Sync' Software didn't work, had to reload it several times before it worked; got it sync'd, and it worked. Once. Then it broke again (it would push the paper and mat out the back and say 'mat not detected'. After many phone calls and support giving me 'suggestions', they finally agreed to send me a 'new' one. Well, the one i received was NOT new, and says 'mat not detected'. I think they boxed up my old one and sent it back to me. I cannot express how disappointed I am. I could think of so many other things I could have spent $300 on!

Love My Imagine
I had 2 Cricut machines and a Cuttlebug before taking the dive and purchasing the Imagine. Oh My Goodness - where was the Imagine all my life? The printing is amazing. I had zero problems taking it out of the box, although it is heavier than all of my devices and I don't think it's meant to be portable. I was able to install the sync software and update it without an issue. All my regular cartridges work and I've been able to purchase multiple Imagine Cartridges when they are on sale without breaking the bank. Using the Cricut Craft Room has even increased my experience with using the Imagine.
It is super easy to use and I was creating projects within an hour of opening the box.
I highly recommend it. The new mats work just fine for me - they are super, super sticky at first and it takes a couple of uses before they are right as rain.
When you are printing a 12x12 full sheet make sure to have some baby wipes handy - very helpful to clean up your mat so that the black lines don't get messed up. I have a total of four mats which I interchange and haven't had to replace a single one yet.
I absolutely love it and if you are a serious Cricut user, I highly recommend this machine!
Also, I had a few issues with my Mac using Safari and the www.cricut.com site - their customer support was wonderful. So friendly and helpful! Thank you!

A HUGE disappointment.
I sold my old cricut expression for this machine and now I'm regretting it. I've had nothing but bad experience with this product, matter of fact, I've had issues with all cricut products PERIOD! I will no longer purchase any product from this cricut EVER again. I had my machine replaced twice and even now with this machine, I'm still having issues. It won't cut and layers are not coordinated with each other and machine shuts down on me while on a project. It's so frustrating and a big disappointment. Don't waste $300 for this piece of junk.

Big MISTAKE!
I HATE this machine! It has never worked right since I purchased it when it first came out. Spend all my time trying to update it and it still doesn't work. I have lots of cartridges I cannot use. I think my only option is to throw it away!

Never Again
This was my first cricut and I am totally disappointed. I went online to create projects but once I connected the cricut to my computer the machine continued to shut down and never cut anything for me. I was so excited about this product but it didn't live up to all the hipe.

Not Worth your Money!
I was so excited to receive the Imagine as a Christmas gift, but sadly it hardly ever works. It continually shuts off in the middle of cutting, some of the new cartridges DO NOT work with it, even though the cartridge states it works with ALL Cricut machines. It will not work with the Craft Room feature, and I have been told numerous times by customer service they are working on that issue, but it has been 7 months now! Don't be deceived by the online videos tutorials about the product, I have wasted countless hours trying to make it work! I have many classified ads for this machine, people are just trying to sell it if possible, for as little as 1/3 of the original $300 cost! The customer service reps. have been helpful, but they have very limited customer service hours, and if you email them, they reply that you need to call in to speak with a rep. about the issue. I'm sure this product was intended to be great, but it's not, and I wish I could give it a lower rating then half a star!

I have had this disappointing imagine cricut for over a year and never been able to finished a project. All they won't me to do is call and still doesn't work.. I have sync and updated every time. This is way to much work. I had the orignal and love it and then upgraded to the next, which I also loved. I gave to a friend because I wanted the imagine because it would print. Now I feel I have nothing but all these cartridges with a machine that doesn't do its job. I think you sold this product before it was ready to market with help that is not sure what to do either. I will keeping checking the craftroom hoping you as a company will feel the need to resolve the problems. I still want it to all work please don't disappoint us (the customer) Thanks for listening

Love It
I know when Imagine first came out the bugs were being worked out so some reviews were not as high as expected.
I love this machine! It has been great and done what I needed and more. It has given me freedom to create and have at my fingertips the colors and designs I wanted. It works great with all my other cartridges and I have over 40. I use it as much as my other Cricut machines if not more. I have the Cricut Cake, the orginal Cricut, Cricut expression2 and the Imagine. I love my Cricuts. This machine has been used for school, holidays and more. Give it a try. I gave it a 4.5 because of how it was at the very beginning but not now, there is a learning curve.

Sad
I was so excited to get the Imagine Machine! I got it out of the box and by the time I got it set up I had ran out of time for the day. Since I have MS I often cannot scrap for several days in between this time it was months. When I finally got back to my Imagine it had been 6 months later. Time to update it, I also had new cartridges to add. I turned the machine on and it froze. This was the second time the machine had ever been turned on! I called customer service and spoke with the nice lady on the other end. We worked tirelessly with no luck. I have a bad Imagine there is no doubt. Sadly I had not registered it. And so far have not found my receipt, the store I purchased it at cannot help me because it was too long ago. Cricut will not honor the warranty because I did not register it, although the cords still have the twist ties around them. You can tell this is a brand new machine.Just saying BEWARE,,, I never got to cut one thing, print one thing...never saw it work...a very expensive decoration, LOL...Register the thing as soon as you get it out of the package!

I love this machine. It is very heavy. At first I was intimidated by the electronic aspect. After watching just a couple youtube videos I am flying right through my projects. I love that I can create my own colors and patterns. It's fantastic. I have had a couple issues where it doesn't cut. I just feed it back through and tell it to cut again and it does. So, it does have a glitch, but I still love it. One thing I haven't figured out yet is if you can move the blade where you want it on the mat like you can with the expression. As for price, I just watch for sales and really I get some great deals. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you.

Cricut Imagine
I received the Cricut Imagine for Christmas from Wal-Mart and it has only printed twice in the cut only mode. It has never got it printed consistently. I have calibrated the machine several times, called customer service and it still does not print. I would not recommend this machine.

The Best
I have 4 different Cricut machines. I love this one the most. I use it a lot. Especially when I am working late at night and need a specific type of paper and cannot find it. All I have to do is use this machine and print whatever I need. I don't print out 12 x12 sheets even though I could but use it mostly for the elements or mini albums. It works with all other cartridges and I have used it for more than scrapbooking.
It is heavy, but I never move my computer printer so I didn't expect to move this one around. I would have given it 5 stars but it does have a little learning curve. Cricut support helped and it didn't take long for me to get moving in the right direction.

the worst ever!
I can't beehive how excited I was in the beginning when purchasing this machine, then it came to a point of fed up!!!. It turns of itself and since I have it I hadn't been able to use the craft room, an error behind another. This is a crappy machine,I rather prefer the personal cricut.

UGH!
This machine has been nothing but problems from the moment I got it. I have been on the phone with Cricut so much, it doesn't even make sense. For this machine to be so expensive I expected more. The mats are awful, and my machine freaks out and doesn't read the mats or says I have not ink when I do, and wont let me cut. It's a pain, I wish I would have bought the expression.

Biggest waste of money
I bought the Imagine off HSN on its debut. It has never worked properly. Provo Craft "repaired" it, but still has never worked we'll. I gave up trying to get it to work, and now it just sits on a shelf wasting space. Don't buy it! My Cricut Expression was worth every penny, buy that instead!

WOW!
This machine is very poorly designed! The first machine I got was working fine until the screen kept popping out of the housing. This led to a cracked screen and a machine that could no longer be used. After some debate, Cricut replaced my new machine with a refurbished one. Low and behold....same problem. The screen is falling out of the housing and therefore, when you select something on the touch screen, it doesn't relay the message correctly, thus rendering the machine useless. They are going to send me another refurbished machine, but at this point I would like a brand new one. Clearly the product is not of very high quality, nor is their customer service. The imagine mats are also not made very well. It is very frustrating when you are printing and cutting, then the paper begins to slide on the mat because it is not sticky enough!
I woud very strongly not recommend this product to anyone considering it. This is a waste of your money and a very big source of stress, anger and frustration!

Love, Love, Love my Imagine and sad to hear no more carts coming out
I got my machine on world launch and have had great service out of it. This is my favorite Cricut. I'm not sure what I will do if it breaks down since Cricut is no longer making them.
Please make more cartridges as many of us do love our Imagines.

nothing but bugs and trouble
i have had nothing but trouble from the day i got this thing. i was rewuired to download an update which took so many tries it was ridiculous the amount of hours it took. I bought this thing to be able to use with the cricut craft room ...again more hours spent until they eventually admitted it had problems and was not compatible. i have hardly used in and today when i went to use iit it would not go to the go and cut screen! this is a huge paperweight and a waste of money. i wish i would have gotten the expression and hopefully that would have been better but who knows. dont waste your time with this one.

I bought the imagine and have tried using it on several occasions and it resets. Have tried updating and contacting support but it just doesnt seem to cooperate.

Great
I own six die cutting machines this is my favorite because the printing is awesome but the pricing of the cartridges is too high. I haven't been able to buy a lot of them, but the ones I have are awesome!

Time saver
I enjoy using my Cricut Imagine. I can cut an image and print a design on my project at the same time allowing me to tackle other tasks while my Cricut Imagine is doing double duty.

Awesome!
I LOVE my Imagine! I have had only one glitch and that was solved with running the Sync. Unfortunately, I do not have a computer at home so doing a sync is a challenge. My only disappointment is that it has now been discontinued and no new cartridges are being created.

when it works its great!
i received my imagine ( my second cricut machine) for xmas two years ago. It worked a total of 3 weeks before it never worked again. I called cricut repeatedly for many many weeks. they reluctantly agreed to send me a new one. The new one worked great at first- I don't know how many crafters are frequently able to use their machines but i am not always able to. After not using it I turned it on last week in order to start a project i need done asap. The machine needed updates- needless to say the machine wont accept the updates again and again my machine is completely useless. when it works its great however its track record is far lower.
