THE BEST!

I LOVE my Cricut Expression 2 Anniversary Edition! I have had it since it was launched on HSN and I can tell you that it is my favorite Cricut by far! I also own a red Expression, and I find that the Expression 2 is so much more user friendly. I LOVE that I don't have to use overlays!! It cuts way better then my other Cricuts, and I find that I waste far less paper!! Thank You Provo Craft!!!

Not real happy

While I appreciate a few of the new features like being able to see everything that will cut, it is clumsy to go back and forth with the screens. I wish I had my old one back (I sold it to get this new one). I actually miss having the keyboard with the overlays. It is still "stuttering" instead of cutting properly and will probably have to send back. While it has worked basically the same, I would rather have a few more "updates" and was expecting there to be a lot of new features, but there are not enough to justify the price. Wait for the next edition.

Love this machine!

I've had my Cricut Expression 2: Anniversary Edition since early May. I purchased it through HSN at launch. That process was super simple and I had my E2 in no time. Right off the get-go...I love the sleeker, slimmer design. And I love the colors! Wish my other machines had the Cricut Green color to them. ;) I really enjoy not having to use the overlays. It is nice to be abe to see how the images sit on the mat. I love the light, although I don't craft in the dark and I use a Gypsy, so the light is not something that I utilize most times I use the E2. But I'm glad it's there! I love that all of the other features are still included on the E2 that were first introduced on the original expression. The touch screen is really nice to use, a simple click of the stylus and you can change the pressure and speed. I absolutely LOVE the fact that you can add some custom settings into the Cricut for cutting your favorite papers. Makes it super easy to get your cuts looking perfect! All in all I recommend this machine! I felt it was worth the 4.5 stars, because there are a couple other features that I would prefer to have on it. I wish that I could move the images around on the mat, for even more paper saving. Right now, to get an item to the next line, you have to add spaces or a return. It would be so nice to have the option, somewhat like the Gypsy. I also wish that we can weld words on it, just makes those title cuts look so much nicer (and easier to put on our cards and layouts)! All in all...Provo Craft, you did it again. Another fantastic Cricut! I {heart} my Cricuts!

Easy to use.

I received my E2 a couple of months ago. It was really easy to set up and use . I love the size of the screen! I have to say this is my favorite!

Extreme Die Cutting Machine

Extreme Die Cutting Machine The Cricut Expression 2 anniversary edition has really raised the bar for die cutting machines; I have the entire collection of die cutting machines from Provo Craft. The CE2 has the abilities for wireless sync to the large touch screen for controls, many of the features from art quantities to the fabulous center point are must haves. The CE2 allows for fast cutting with pre-set controls for paper types to the ability to save your custom cutting settings you enter, I enjoy all of my die cutting machines from Provo Craft, I must say that the CE2 is hands down a go to machine for any crafter :)

Love it!

My mom bought the CE2 for my birthday. This is the first machine I have ever used. I used my mom's Cricut Expression machine after I received my CE2 and I was so confused. The CE2 is so easy to use if you have never used the expression before. I LOVE it! Mom says she's created a monster. =)

Still speechless ...

I am still speechless! I am new to using anything Provo; however, I will not ever buy any machine, after this one. I do not appreciate feeling betrayed. I bought the E2 when it came out on HSN because I was impressed by what I saw, the advertisements, and what I was hearing. However, HSN, AND the Provo Rep. stated that HSN was the only one selling this "particular" edition, AND the night that I bought it would be the only night that it (the Anniversary Edition) can be bought. They stated that the carts built in it were especially only designed for the Anniversary Edition. However, alas, it is not so. I saw it being advertised, the exact same one, on your site, and others. I do not like being lied to, and manipulated in any way because of greed! And, I really had liked this machine, also. First chance I get, I will rid myself of it ... after research, I saw another that I will try - P*****s. However, I have to save up for it. Hopefully, they will have, and show, integrity, in what they sell. With Provo, I feel duped, and embarrassed; as I had informed friends that mine was special and they couldn't get one, like it. Well, I, as you already know, am wrong!

My favorite machine yet

I have created so much with this already and I got one around the end of March! This is a wonderful machine. I really like that there is a dedicated home button, that the screen shows you where your design will cut and you can adjust if needed from there. Amazing! I have ended up saving allot of paper with this machine and the pause button after it starts cutting (if you update it after you get it) is absolutely amazing and I have ended up using it lots. Another fabulous feature is the light when it starts cutting, even in a well lit room sometimes under the blade you can't always see where its cutting. There are great rubber covers to keep ports closed from dust getting in and one for your screen. Just an overall great machine!!

Happy Scrapper

I love my newest Cricut. I had no problem connecting to the computer. The way I understood it on HSN is that you got this before anyone else. I sold my original Expression after using this one. It world great with my Gypsy. My only complaint is that it didn't come with the WiFi capability already installed. Oh well. Can't have it all.

Creative Talents Controlled by Provocraft!!

I am new to this whole cutter business and have heard so many great stories about the cricut. I came on the website and saw that the E2 was the latest and greatest to come out. I PRE-Ordered it!! I was under the impression that I would be able to use my own designs to cut things out. I didnt find out until after I purchased MTC that I couldnt. Luckily enough MTC refunded my money and explained the lawsuit. The lawsuit would be understandable if Provocraft offered something simular. Not having to pay $30 (If Im lucky) for a stupid cartridge to get one single image I want to use. What about the images that I created myself? Are cricut owners not allowed to be creative on there own with your machines? What about business owners that want to cut there logo? You have really put a limitation on your product and I hate that! Oh ALSO got into the craftroom... No creative talent allowed there either gotta own the cartridge. I really regret buying this machine and will NEVER purchase another one! I have mine on ebay for sale. It has never even been used. I refuse to have my creative talents limited to what Provocraft allows!

In Complete...

I hate to give this such a low rating because the machine is perfection! It really cuts beautifully and the on screen is so easy to use. My problem is that we purchased this machine on the HSN launch and PC still has never addressed the issue of being able to use the built in cartridges with Gypsy. They do not work on the Gypsy! HELLO! Even though the machine is fantastic, I would have rather waited and purchased it cheaper with no built in cartridges. Being a hard core Gypsy user, everything other than the cutting on this machine has proven useless for me. Sorry PC, but let's get it right. Fix what is broken and you won't have so many upset users.

WOW!

I already owned the original CE, and liked it. And I bought the CE2 when HSN recently showcased it- the first release of the machine ready with the capability to acquire images one by one in the future by including the usb attachment. I'm so thrilled with the updates - I love having the built-in cartridges, the default cutting at the top left, and my very favorite - being able to so easily input my paper measurements which allows me to use scraps and smaller stock. And I bought my first Imagine cartridge today and I'm really looking forward to using it. So much thought and creativity went into this new machine. I'm donating my original Expression to a local grade school so the teachers can benefit. Thank you, thank you!

Duped, is right.

I've bought both the original Expressions, and this latest one. I find them difficult and inaccurate. Bought the software a while back, and it's so lame, it's like my first embroidery machine software -just so limited and beginner-ish. I would love to be able to create, like others, or buy individual files online, as in my sewing. My 'cut' light will not come on, when using 3 of my 10 cart's --anyone else have this trouble? Also, the screen will not show the image on the grid, and sizing is a pain in the tush. Just too many back & forths, to get to the main event: finished, cut design. Very disappointing. Booklet should be more detailed, and have more answers for trouble shooting. It's like they never expect you to need help. I suggest they get some REAL engineers in on this, and make the software/machine a little more sophisticated, and allow for individuals who can create, to do so. They might just find the next generation in designers. Lastly, that big screen? All icons and buttons are so small, I had to attach a magnifying screen to it, so I wouldn't keep getting nose prints on the face of it. Purchased from HSN. Will likely send it back.

Not quite what I expected

I am new to Cricut, but I am a little disappointed because you can't weld the letters. That would justify the cost of this machine if I could do that. I also don't like the icons on the buttons. Why can't you just use words? I'm always forgetting what the icons mean and then I must look them up in the instruction book. I also wish the handle was on top instead of at the ends. Then it could be picked up with one hand instead of two. Otherwise, I like it a lot. It cuts really nice...once I figure out the icons.

This is my third cricut. I like it and the fact that you can update the features. However, I feel that your presentation on hsn if misleading. Like others, I bought the anniversary edition on its launch thinking it was the only time it would be available and also be the best package for the money, only to find out if I had waited I could have gotten it cheaper and with the wifi connect. So disappointed with pc and hsn for not being truthful on the presentations. I definately will not purchase anything at first airing in the future and will not trust what is being said.

Enjoying My E2

I own a Cricut Create also and use it very little. I really enjoy this machine, so much easier to tell what you are cutting (no more keyboard mats!) and where it is placed on the cutting mat. That is worth a lot to me. The one thing I wish it had is "arrows" to move images about like the Gypsy has. I called Provo Craft on several occasions...the one time that was directly about this machine, we determined that my machine had a defective blade and PC sent me a new pack. That was indeed the issue (having some bad cuts, etc.)PC has very nice customer service reps I found. I more recently bought a Gypsy which was a pill to update online and I probably would have never made it without all their help.

Leads in comsumer disappointment.

After re-reading Cricut Expression 2 machine reviews and having done much research, I have found that loyal consumers of Cricut cutting machines are treated like children awaiting that beautiful red bike for Christmas. We are promised the ultimate accessory or cutting machine, better than the last, only to find that we have been duped. The Design Studio was upped to the Gypsy which were both set aside by Cricut designers in favor of the new online design center. How do I know this? I called and asked about duplications, and I somehow got an honest consumer service person. Then, I found out that I could buy a machine that uses ink, at a price, of course (a Cricut with an expensive printer added, to be sure). Well, we can buy an Expression 2 and use origional cartridges and newer Impression cardridges, but have no inking opportunities. But wait, I am told today on an Expression 2 video that, even tho the 2 is on the market and is more advanced in ease of use than the origional Expression which I have, I do not want to forget that when I receive the machine into my home, I must DOWNLOAD updates like "welding"; if I'd known I must personally apply what the company forgot (which is, of course, NOT in the product description) to yet receive the total product I want, I would not have used the time on the research and reviews. I, plus many others, I am sure, have been the Christmas child clammering for the red bike, clammering to get our upgraded Cricut machine -- well, not now. I function with what I have; I don't need to be taken advantage of by the creative minds at Cricut. Please DO NOT take advantage of your followers -- especially in this economy! You might want to let the truth as to when the Expression 2 becomes complete/the REAL THING if we haven't chosen something else.

Ripoff

I think this machine is a total ripoff, At the end buying all the cartiges you need, you could have buy one that you can use with a computer and coral draw ect, and you will be much better off

I LOVE it!

I have the Expression, Gypsy, & Imagine. Love them ALL. You can't really compare it to the Imagine, since this doesn't print, but comparing it to the Expression....WOW!!! Sooo much easier to cut!!!! Very smooth. Combines gypsy/imagine like touch screen giving you a better idea for layout. Only problem was a non-sticky mat, but I called PC & they will be replacing it. EXCELLENT customer support. For those that have problems, I suggest go to YouTube. There are a lot do tutorials. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Was hesitant to order since I have the other machines, but soooo glad I did!!!! It is easier than the Expression. Got a great Black Friday deal! Thanks!!!!

Doesn't work

I purchased this Expression 2 from HSN. I already have the Expression and have never had a problem with it. But the Expression 2 didn't work from the moment I took it out of the box. It turns on, lights up, then turns off. Can't do anything on it.. and of course it's too late to send it back to HSN. We'll see what Cricit Customer Service will do to fix this problem.

LOVE IT!

I just love this machine! Yes I did have to read the entire manual and play with it before I got it but after doing that I LOVE IT!

Bad Experience

I bought a Cricut Expression 2 and never been using it to make a single craft because it is not able to cut. It doesn't cut and no support was provided. I was given a toll free number to call but that number is not active. Due to this, gypsy that i bought along with the cricut machine is still in its original package, I don't recommend anyone outside USA to buy this, it is a waste of money.

Does Not Work

I purchased this item earlier today. The touch screen is not working. I took it back to Michaels within a few hours of the purchase. They refused to exchange it or refund the money I spent on it. They said the Cricut policy is that have to deal with the manufacturer once the box is opened. Right now Michaels has my money and all I have a worthless piece of junk that does not work. I will not purchase another Cricut product.

Terrible Machine and Terrible Customer Service

I have been so disappointed with every aspect of my Cricut Expression 2. I received this product as a Christmas gift and it has NEVER worked. I use the product with a new MacBook Pro, and it has completely distroyed the software on my computer. I have tried multiple times to contact customer service and they have never been able to help me, and have always said they would contact me back and never have. I have never been able to complete one project with this machine because it is defective, and the company has not done anything to help me receive a new one or to help get this one working. Absolutely the worst customer service and company I have ever worked with.
