The great thing about this project is that most of the work is already done for you. Aside from changing your desired colors, all you really need to do is assemble the pieces like a puzzle. When I saw the design for the card, I got super excited and started making my Christmas cards in late August. While creating multiple cards may have taken a bit of time, I truly did enjoy the simplicity of the project.

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Click to download the .ccr file above. Import the file into the Cricut Craft Room® design software. (If you're not sure how to import files, follow these instructions: download the .ccr file, log into the Cricut Craft Room® design software, select "My Projects", click "Import" towards the bottom of newly opened screen, search for the downloaded file and select "Open". After that you should see the color coordinated cuts on your digital cutting mat.)
To cut out the project exactly how it is positioned on the cutting mat, cut out these sizes of paper with the corresponding color and place them on your cutting mat:

Black Card Stock: 7 x 6 inch | White Card Stock: 4 x 9 inch | Red Card Stock: 3 x 3 inch | Yellow Card Stock: 4 x 3 inch | Brown Card Stock: 3 x 3 inch
Cricut® Cuts:
Use project cut file (.ccr file) to create the following cuts:

1. Card
a. Black Card Stock (Card layer)

2. Insert & Fur
a. White Card Stock (Insert/Fur layer)

3. Clothes & Bow
a. Red Card Stock (Clothes layer) *discard the red oval since you'll get a yellow nose in the following cut

4. Clothes & Nose
a. Yellow Card Stock (Clothes2 layer) *you can discard the yellow bow parts but keep the yellow oval for the nose

5. Antlers
a. Brown Card Stock (Antlers layer) *all you need from this are the antlers

Be sure to replace your cutting blade with the Cricut® Gel Pen to finish the following layer.
6. Text
a. Green Cricut® Gel Pen (Text layer)
On top of a cutting mat, use a craft blade to trim the edge of the insert so it will fit inside the card when closed. Accuracy was easiest for me by laying the card on top of the insert and cutting the overlapping piece off but can be done whichever way works best for you. Use your glue to adhere the insert to the inside of the card.
Use glue to assemble the face of the cards using all of the pieces from 2a through 5a.
