My friend is having a 60th Birthday, so I decide to create a special card using the Southwest Cartridge. It is not only a birthday card but also a Birthday pin that she can remove and wear on her special day.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Southwest Cardstock
  • Glitter
  • Brooch pin

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Using the digital Southwest cartridge I designed the card with layers for the flower, 60 cut out of black card stock, and Celebrate cut with the background shape. For inside the card I cut Happy Birthday from the cartridge. I used the Southwest cardstock.
I glued the celebrate onto the background and then onto the card. I assemble the layers of the flower for the brooch. Glued glitter to the 60 and use liquid laminate on the feathers to be used as leaves. Glue Happy Birthday to the inside of the card.

I glued a pin back to the back of the flower and pinned it to the card.
