I used the FREE cut this week and stretched it out to almost 15" to hang on my wall.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • 2 white 12x12 cardstock
  • eyelets
  • adhesive
  • acetate (packaging from cuttlebug)
  • silver ink edging
  • brown ink edging
  • foam squares
  • green ink edging
  • 12x12 brown cardstock
  • green paper or cardstock
  • 12x24 cricut mat

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Download cut file and cut all pieces for window. In the cut file there is also a huge bird cage and bird, You can save that for later. First if you do not have a white piece of 12x24 paper you will need to glue 2 12x12 together. I show you in the video.
Cut out layers 3 and 4 in cut file. Score the box and adhere the sides together and then ink the edges. Next ink the edges of the windows inside and out, along with the long piece that goes at the top of window.
Add glue to 1 side of flower box and adhere to window. Punch 3 holes through box and window and attach eyelets for extra hold, so if you place something in the box it won't fall off.
Cut 4 pieces of 4.5x3.5" acetate for windows. I used my ATG around the edges to adhere to back of window. Tip: Put the flower box off the edge of table so you have a flat surface to work on, shown in picture. Once windows are in use foam squares to pop out what you want to look at through window. I used a 8.5x 11" printed paper of beach.
Ink edges of leaves, I also cut apart the top 2 layers of leaves, you can also add flowers. You can adhere them anyway you like, inside or outside the box.
To hang on the wall I used U-Glue.
