Carousel for the Cricut ornament contest

  • cardstock
  • glitter
  • ribbon
  • embossing powder
  • snow pen
  • gel pen
  • glue

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

I selected the carousel image from artiste at 3.5 in. From C.C.R. basics I choose the capital I and elongated and adjusted it to form a third and forth pole for the carousel weld in place. cut both layers as usual. Six of each. Cut 2 sleighs and Santa at 1.5 and 8 reindeer at 2 in. from Joy's of the seasons. Cut snowflakes at .5 in.
Adhere layers of carousel and fold in half. Embellish with gel pen. Attach carousel pieces back to back forming ornament.
Emboss sleigh bottoms silver. Color in Santa with gel pen and use snow pen for beard. Glitter reindeer antlers embellish with gel pens. Glitter snowflakes.
Attach sleigh to carousel using two poles for each sleigh piece (see pic). cut strip of scrap paper place between sleigh pieces as a seat for Santa attach Santa. Attach reindeer staggering on remaining poles (see pic). Glue on snowflakes and ribbon loop.
