Need some visual interest added to your home? Don't have a lot of money to spend to do it? This quick home decor project can do just that by using a little paper and your favorite Cricut machine.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Gold paper/cardstock
  • Misc. colored vellum
  • Battery tea lights
  • Transfer paper (optional)

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Using the Cricut CCR file provided, cut the first project layer (church). I used 12x12 gold paper.
Remove the 12x12 gold paper base from the mat. Then remove the church's main building portion from the mat, leaving the windows, doors, etc. on the mat. Using transfer paper (optional), pick up the remaining church pieces on to the transfer paper.
Select desired colored vellum and add it to the back of your cut 12x12 gold base paper layer.
Using the transfer paper (optional), adhere the church cutout pieces to the top of the vellum accordingly.
Adjoin the two ends of the 12x12 gold base layer and adhere.
Repeat Steps 1-5 for the House 2 and Barn lanterns.
Place battery operated tea lights inside the lantern cylinders and light.
Enjoy your new home decor!
