STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS
Using CCR create the card base.
Next add 5 card fronts to the mat. Put each on a separate layer and color code them for the part of the tree each layer will correspond with. Example:
brown layer 1 = tree trunk, dark green layer 2 = half of the tree leaves, light green layer 3 = more tree leaves, yellow layer 4 = just the bird, red layer 5 = top of card, white layer 6 = card base.
brown layer 1 = tree trunk, dark green layer 2 = half of the tree leaves, light green layer 3 = more tree leaves, yellow layer 4 = just the bird, red layer 5 = top of card, white layer 6 = card base.
Go through each of the layers hide/remove the cuts you don't need for that layers' color. Example = brown layer will be just the bracket shape. Where as the dark green layer will have just the tree trunk and the flower pot cut on it. So that when you stack the dark green layer on top of the brown layer the tree and pot will show through. See my stacked card project if you need a better visual.
