3-D Pecan Pie Slice treat box to fill with your favorite holiday goodness. You can leave the whip cream on or not! =)

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Creamy Caramel Naturals Ivory Early Es
  • 1 1/4 grosgrain ribbon in Chocolate Chip
  • Ink in Early Espresso Chocolate Chip an
  • Gold and white or vanilla brads
  • Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

I used two different base colors for my pecans to mimic the variety you actually get in real pecans. I added them AFTER I put the box together, but you could also do it before. The only pecan I needed to trim was the at the point (what would be the center of an actual pie). I placed my pecans haphazardly because that's how I make mine, but I know that some people like to line theirs up. The great thing about this file, is that they are individual pieces, so you can make it personal by arranging them how you like them to be.

Here is another way to create the whipped cream using spritz. Complete directions can be found at:

I am very impressed with the designs by this artist and have downloaded what is available from this site but the directions are awful... I am looking for and needing more detailed directions.. What is here are not detailed directions. For example, out of what cartridge is the "whipped cream" cut. How many and at what size. What cartridge is the "crust" cut from or do you free-hand it? At what size does one make the pie shape? What sentiment stamp did she use? Perhaps someone could help make this adorable project a little more user friendly. Thanks.
