I just love all of the cute critters, icons and accessories on this cartridge. I wanted to make something that would show all of the great features of the cartridge. Along with the Cricut Craft Room Basics cartridge for the lettering, I have made this cute little banner to be hung up on the wall in my creative space.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • card stock
  • distress inks
  • ribbon
  • black gel pen
  • glue
  • cuttlebug embossing folders
  • hole punch

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Everything is cut out using Cricut craft room. The first step was to cut out the shadows of the letters, critters, and accessories on white paper. The letters are set to 4", and the critters are set to 2".
Pick the colors that you would like and cut out all of the details in Cricut Craft Room.
Using coordinating distress inks and a ink blender, rub around the sides of all of the cut outs.
Using embossing folders and the cuttlebug, emboss the letters with a different folder for every letter. Now rub distress inks on the letters as well, just like we did in step 3.
Glue the critters accessories and letters together, and layer the critters and accessories on top of the letters.
Punch holes in the top corners of the letters, string with ribbon and voila, you have yourself a custom CREATE banner.
