Create a Critter 2 Design Challenge:Wine Glass

This is a Wine Glass etched with the word fall and acorns from the Create A Critter 2 Cartridge.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Vinyl
  • Glass Etching Cream
  • Paint Brush

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

In CCR place the word Fall from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge which is located under the phase part. I placed 17 acorns from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge from the accessory part. I made the acorns different sizes.
Place vinyl on your cutting mat and make sure that is has no bubbles in it. Place the cutting mat into the Cricut with the blade set on a 3 and cut. Remove the cutting mat from the machine.
Cut a square around each acorn and the word fall. Using the outside of the square, place the vinyl on the wine glass. Arrange how you would like.
Using a paint brush, place the glass etching cream in the center of all of the squares, you should make sure that it is a thick, even coat. Let the etching cream sit for at least 5 minutes, ensuring that the etching cream does not run onto the glass. Once the etching cream has sat for the 5 minutes go to the sink and wash off the etching cream. Pull all of the vinyl off and throw in the trash. Wash the wine glass with dish soap. Then dry and you are done.
