STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
Pirates and Mermaids Cartridge
1. Castle
a. Aqua castle (8” <SeaCstle>)
b. Pink castle (8” Shift + <SeaCst-s>)
c. Light purple castle (8” Layer + <SeaCstle>)
d. Aqua pattern castle (8” Layer + Shift + <SeaCst-s>)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 11 ¾” x 11 ¾” piece of dark purple cardstock, one 11 ½” x 11 ½” piece of light purple cardstock and one 11 ¼” x 11 ¼” piece of white cardstock. Layer together. Adhere to one 12” x 12” piece of striped pattern paper to create base. Attach ribbon.
Use paper trimmer to cut two 4 ½” x 4 ½” pieces of aqua pattern paper, two 4” x 4” pieces of purple pattern paper, and two 3 ¾” x 3 ¾” pieces of pink cardstock. Layer together with photos. Adhere to layout.
Create castle from cuts 1a-1d. Use foam squares to layer together. Adhere to layout.
Embellish as desired.

Step 2

Use paper trimmer to cut one 11 ¾” x 11 ¾” piece of dark purple cardstock, one 11 ½” x 11 ½” piece of light purple cardstock and one 11 ¼” x 11 ¼” piece of white cardstock. Layer together. Adhere to one 12” x 12” piece of striped pattern paper to create base. Attach ribbon.

Step 3

Use paper trimmer to cut two 4 ½” x 4 ½” pieces of aqua pattern paper, two 4” x 4” pieces of purple pattern paper, and two 3 ¾” x 3 ¾” pieces of pink cardstock. Layer together with photos. Adhere to layout.

Step 4

Create castle from cuts 1a-1d. Use foam squares to layer together. Adhere to layout.

Step 5

Embellish as desired.
