STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
1. Scallop borders
a. Cream border (1 ¾” <scallop>)
b. Red borders (1/2” <scallop>)

2. Heart
a. Blue heart (1/2” RolyPoly + <heart>)

Graphically Speaking Cartridge
3. Tree
a. Green dotted tree (4 ½” Shift + <Imag01-s>)

4. Title: The Great Outdoors
a. Blue pattern title (4 ½” <Image01>)
b. Red pattern title (4 ½” <Image01>)

Storybook Cartridge
5. Bird
a. Red pattern bird (1 ½” Shift + <Robin>)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 2” x 12” piece of polka dot pattern paper, one ¼” x12” piece of red pattern paper and one 7 ¼” x 12” piece of pink cardstock. Adhere to one 12” x 12” piece of brown pattern paper to create base.
Create scallop borders from cuts 1a-1b. Adhere to layout.
Create tree from cut 3a. Adhere to layout.
Create title from cuts 4a-4b. Adhere to layout.
Create bird from cut 2a and 5a. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.
Embellish as desired.

Step 2

Step 6

Create bird from cut 2a and 5a. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.

Step 7

Embellish as desired.
