STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
1. Frame
a. Brown pattern frame (5” Center Point + Shift + <square>)
b. Brown pattern frame (3” Center Point + Shift + <square>)

2. Apple
a. Red pattern apple (2 ¾” <apple>)
b. Green pattern leaves (2 ¾” <apple>)

Graphically Speaking Cartridge
3. Alphabet frame
a. Blue pattern frame (4 ¾” Icon + <Image09>)

4. Phrase: teach
a. Blue pattern phrase (1” Real Dial Size + Phrase + Shift + <Imag09-s>)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 10 ½” x 5 ¼” piece of red cardstock. Fold in half to create card base.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 4” x 4” piece of yellow pattern paper. Adhere to card front.
Create frame from cuts 1a-1b. Use sewing machine to sew around frame opening. Create alphabet frame from cut 3a. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to card front.
Create apple from cuts 2a-2b. Use scissors to trim. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to card front.
Create phrase from cut 4a. Adhere to card front.
Embellish as desired.
