CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • stretched canvas
  • paint and antique medium if desired
  • Sticky Doos (foam sticky dots)
  • card stock printed and plain
  • glue (I used brush onTacky Glue)

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Paint and antique canvas allow to dry totally!!
Using Cricut cut out shapes and letters. I used the cup from the "Beyond Birthdays" digital cartridges (for some reason it won't list with the other cartridges I have) decided on the cupcake at the last minute but any of your favorite foods would work. Cut all three layers if available (some images only have two layers), basic, shadow, blackout.
Lay out words, coffee cup and cupcake on canvas before gluing!! Use brush on Tacky Glue to adhere the shadow blackout layer to canvas.
Place Sticky Doos on items (two layers) and place on top of shadow blackout, then shadow, followed by basic.
Step back and enjoy your handiwork :-)
