STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cricut® Cuts:
Accent Essentials Cartridge
1. Scalloped square
a. Red square (11” Shift + <Accnt47s>)

Stand and Salute Cartridge
2. Title: Life
a. Red title (2 ¾” Shift + <Life>)
3. Stars
a. Two yellow stars (1 ½” Border + <Star>)
4. Clouds
a. Aqua cloud (2” Shift + <Clouds>)
b. Aqua cloud (1 ½” Shift + <Clouds>)
5. Planes
a. Dark gray plane (2 ½” Shift + <PropPlne>)
b. Dark gray plane (1 ½” Flip + Shift + <PropPlne>)

Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
6. Title: a Boy’s
a. Red title (1” <a Boy’s> or title of choice)
Create scalloped square from cut 1a. Adhere to one 12” x 12” light green cardstock to create base.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 9 ¼” x 8 ¼” piece of striped cardstock. Adhere to layout. Use sewing machine to stitch around edges.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 7 ¼” x 5 ¼” piece of yellow cardstock and one 7” x 5” piece of cream cardstock. Layer together. Adhere to layout. Use sewing machine to stitch around edges.
Create title from cuts 2a and 6a. Adhere to layout.
Create stars from cuts 3a. Use scissors to trim. Adhere to layout.
Create clouds from cuts 4a-4b. Adhere to layout.
Create planes from cuts 5a-5b. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.
Embellish as desired.

Create clouds from cuts 4a-4b. Adhere to layout.

Step 8

Create planes from cuts 5a-5b. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.

Embellish as desired.
