STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS
Spray paint canvas color of your choice, I used Valspar brown with primer; allow to dry.
Using CCR and the Lyrical Letters cartridge, lay words out on mat how you would like them to look on your canvas. I used a separate layer for each word, then placed them on my mat so that I knew they would fit like I wanted them to. I also placed the Breast Cancer ribbon on the mat from the Designer Calendar cartridge.
Once everything is on your mat to your liking, you are ready to cut. Since I was using one color for all my words, I combined all mats to make one cut except for the ribbon. This made placement on my canvas much easier. The CCR makes all those difficult looking collages much simpler. Once vinyl has been cut & weeded, simply place on canvas. Outdoor vinyl sticks much better to painted canvas (Oracal 651). Happy collaging!! :)
