CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • 12X12 tile
  • brown vinyl
  • teal vinyl

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Using Criut Craft room & New Testament cartridge, choose shadow image of cross at 10 inch height. On next layer, choose verse and size to width of cross. Kiss cut each layer on coordinating vinyl.
Choose corner design from Potpourri cartridge, also kiss cut from coordinating vinyl. I cut my corners at 3 inches...remember it measures from the tallest point!
One all vinyl has been "weeded", use alcohol to clean tile. Wipe dry with a lint free cloth, it's very important that there are no dust particles left behind...this causes bubbles, raised spots, etc....
Find center point of tile and center point of cross, place on tile using transfer tape. Add verse and corners. Also, I found it helpful to use the "hinge" method on the larger images...such as the cross and verse.
One final tip, once all vinyl has been adhered you can place the tile in the oven on 350 for a few minutes. This "melts" the vinyl onto the tile which is helpful if your tile has any texture on it. And, voila, you have a beautiful new piece of home decor!!
