OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
- Cardstock
- Patterned Paper
- Adhesive
- Black Sharpie Marker
STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS
Using a 12x24 mat I cut the Shopping Bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More at 11 1/2 inches. Assembled according to directions in booklet.
Using the Ribbons and Rosettes Cartridge I cut out the hearts for the eyes and nose. For the lips I used A Child’s Year.
For the eyes: 2 red hearts at 2 ¼ inches, 2 white hearts at 1 ½ inches, 2 pink hearts at 1 inch.
Glue the pink hearts on top of the white hearts. Then glue the white hearts on top of the red hearts.
For the nose: 1 heart at 1 ¼ inch.
For the lips: Cut the Vlntines image out at 2 inches. (this is really a valentines card).
For the eyes: 2 red hearts at 2 ¼ inches, 2 white hearts at 1 ½ inches, 2 pink hearts at 1 inch.
Glue the pink hearts on top of the white hearts. Then glue the white hearts on top of the red hearts.
For the nose: 1 heart at 1 ¼ inch.
For the lips: Cut the Vlntines image out at 2 inches. (this is really a valentines card).
For the arms:
Take a patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.
Cut 2 hands from Kate’s ABCs at 2 ¾ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.
For the legs:
Take patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 ½ inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.
Cut shoes from Paper Doll Dress Up at 1 ½ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.
Take a patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.
Cut 2 hands from Kate’s ABCs at 2 ¾ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.
For the legs:
Take patterned paper and cut 2 strips 1 ½ inch by 12 inches. Fold these in a fan formation.
Cut shoes from Paper Doll Dress Up at 1 ½ inches. Using adhesive adhere to one end of each fanned strip.
For the hair, cut strips of patterned paper ½ inch by 6 inches. Fold in the fan formation.
Using adhesive attach each arm to sides of the bag then attach the legs from the bottom of the bag so that the legs dangle.
Glue on the facial features.
Add eyelashes using a black Sharpie Marker
Attach hair to the inside of the bag using adhesive.
Glue on the facial features.
Add eyelashes using a black Sharpie Marker
Attach hair to the inside of the bag using adhesive.
Your kids will have the cutest Valentine holder at the party!
