A sweet little card to let a friend know you're thinking of them.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • card stock
  • glue

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

From Create a Critter, cut the squirrel shadow from dark brown paper. Cut layer 1 and 2 of the squirrel from light brown paper. Use white paper for layer 3 of the squirrel cut.
Cut a speech bubble pattern (I used Seal in the "Phrase" tab of Create a Critter). Make sure that the "Squirrel" phrase fits inside the speech bubble cut.
Under the phrase tab on Create a Critter, use the Squirrel "Nuts about ___", then weld with the letter U in a font of your choice. I used Cricut Craft room basics.
For the background, I used Damask Decor: #25 under the "card" tab, and #8 under the "basic" tab.
I used the dots of the Just My Type embossing folder to give the layers some texture. This step is optional.
Attach all parts together and give to a friend!
