I created this card for my Mother-in-Law, whose birthday is on Halloween.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • card stock
  • Martha Stewart punches
  • glitter tape
  • Stickles
  • cotton ball

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Card base is 5” x 7”

Cut and print (using the Cricut Imagine) or cut using the Cricut Expression from the “A Frightful Affair” cartridge:-

p. 38 of the handbook
-- using “skin tone” color cardstock or, if using your Imagine, the RGB code:-255-220-177
Layer – using black

Cut the witch at 4”, and the layers accordingly. Adhere together.
Using orange cardstock, use the Martha Stewart “cobweb” Punch Around the Page

Adhere a background paper and add some Glitter Tape on the sides.

Attach the witch, using popdots. Stickle the hat brim, the li’l rat, tops of shoes, and top of cauldron. Glue some cotton ball fiber to the top of the cauldron for the "bubbles/steam".

Computer-generate “Stirring up some. . .” using “Halloween Spider” font.
Inside of the card:

Using the Martha Stewart Pumpkin Deep Edge Border punch, create a border of 5 pumpkins.

Computer-generate the word clouds, as well as the “WISHES” sentiment. Punch the edges with the cobweb corner punch.
