Create a Critter 2 Contest - Christmas Eve Layout

I created this scrapbook layout page using the Create A Critter 2 sneak peek images and my Expression 2. I started by layering two pieces of patterned paper cut at 10 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches on top of each other. Then I placed my photos onto the page with the main photo matted and at the top. Next I placed my journaling block onto the page to the left of the main photo. I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics to cut this journaling block. I cut the large scalloped rectangle at 2 1/2 inches and the layered scalloped rectangle at 2 1/4 inches. Next, I placed the word JOY which is the title of my page in the lower right corner and the four Create a Critter 2 birds (cut at 2 inches) around the page. Lastly, I placed the holly branches above and below the photos. I used shimmer paint on the holly branches and also on the title JOY to add some sparkle.
