STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Classroom April & May Cartridge
1. Flower
a. Green flower (11” <Flower>)
2. Bird
a. Yellow bird (4” <Bird>)
b. Teal embossed bird layer (4” Shift + <Bird-s>)
3. Title: Spring Break
a. White quote bubble (4 ½” <Quote>)
b. Pink title (3” Phrase + <Sun>)
c. Yellow sun (3 ” Phrase + Shift + <Sun-s>)
4. Sign: No School
a. Pink base (2 ½” ProjectShadow + <Cloud>)
b. White sign (2 ½” Project + <Cloud>)
Use paper trimmer to cut one 11” x 11” piece of circle pattern paper. Ink edges. Adhere to one 12" x 12" piece of teal embossed cardstock to create base.
Create flower from cut 1a. Ink edges. Adhere to layout.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 5 ¾” x 4 ¾” piece of yellow cardstock. Ink edges. Adhere to layout.
Use paper trimmer to cut one 5 ½” x 4 ½” piece of small dot pattern paper and one 5 ¼” x 4 ¼” piece of flower pattern paper. Ink edges. Layer together with one 5” x 4” photo. Attach fibers. Adhere to layout.
Create bird from cuts 2a-2b. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.
Create title from cuts 3a-3c. Ink edges of 3a. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.
Create sign from cuts 4a-4b. Ink edges of 4b. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.
Embellish as desired.

Step 2

Step 6

Create bird from cuts 2a-2b. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.

Step 7

Create title from cuts 3a-3c. Ink edges of 3a. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.

Step 8

Create sign from cuts 4a-4b. Ink edges of 4b. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.

Step 9

Embellish as desired.
