CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Clear acetate
  • Stickles
  • Ink & chalk
  • Whimsy Stamp
  • Cuttlebug
  • Vellum

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cut window card (Card 1), envelope and layers at 5". I cut an extra front panel and embossed it in the Cuttlebug using the Distressed Stripes folder. I cut a layer of clear acetate to layer between the two front panels, so it looks like the window has glass in it. The inside print is from my Imagine using the Blossom cartridge. Ink and chalk all edges.
I cut two layers for the curtain, one of vellum that I embossed using the Swiss Dots folder. I also cut a second window frame to finish off the inside of the card.
Cut butterflies (Card 2b Layer) and bird (Card 1a) at 2.5" from Creative Cards. Chalk and ink edges. Cut cat (Icon) from A Child's Year at 2".
Adhere pieces to front of card. The cat is adhered to the inside, so that it is looking out the window. The sentiment is a stamp and die from Whimsy Stamps.

I really love this card! It is so much prettier than the example for the cart. Your added details are awesome.

Oh my. I just love this card. I am most definitely getting this cart and making your card. I haven't made anything in awhile, but this has renewed my interest. Thanks for sharing
