Just curious- does anyone use 'removeable' vinyl to do a wall decoration for Christmas?! maybe a saying, or design etc....
if so, what do you do?

thanks.
Lauren

Go check out www.myvinyldesigner.com for cut files (SCAL needed) as well as inspiration from their gallery! They have lovely files and very reasonably priced.

HTH!!

I use a bunch of vinyl at Christmas.
*I cute little xmas lights and put around our pantry door.
*I cut presents and place on the wall going up our stairs.
*I have the word "Joy" over an archway.
* A very cool (and really intricate) old fashioned looking Merry Christmas scene that I put on the wall in our bathroom (it was from a dingbat font).
*Cut a bunch of yellow/gold that I use when I hang things at xmas to cover either the nail or adhesive.
*Cut several very large ornaments from the Christmas cart in deep red and placed on a narrow wall space - they look great.
*I know there's more, but can't think of them right now.

I love the look and the fact that I can store it all in a folder after. Unfortunately, it hasn't cut down on my other decorations. :-)

Most of mine are WallPops, so I just put them back on the backing paper and slip into a poly-envelope type thing. It's great! i've used them for two Christmases now!

what type of vinyl are you using to be able to remove it? I purchased the vinyl from printonit and was wondering if it would work.

thanks!

I made a few last year. I used Oracal 631 vinyl purchased from www.signwarehouse.com. This is one of two in my entry. The pic in the post below is also in the entry. I also did angels and sayings over my fireplace. I saved the backing and just put the vinyl right back on it after the holidays, rolled it up and tied a piece of ribbon around it until this Christmas!
