I have used sparkles, but mine did not launder well. Any brand work better than others?

I know they have fabric paint w/ glitter on it but I haven't bought that kind yet. I added the glitter fabric paint after the first coat was dry.

I bought Tulip's machine wash fabric sparkles & added them to my last coat of fabric paint. It looked great at first, but after 2 washings, the sparkles are nil to none. I even washed the shirt inside inside out, but it didn't help. Looked great while it lasted. Any tips?
