Provo Craft is always excited to see customers respond to our newest Cricut cartridges.  We also understand that our Cricut users want to see the new cartridge images as soon as possible.  We try to get our retailers these images as soon as we can, to get our Cricut users excited about the upcoming products.  These sample images are generally created prior to the cartridges actual production.

During the development process, it is sometimes necessary for Provo Craft to make changes to the original preproduction artwork.  Provo Craft does not guarantee any image will make the final cut on to a cartridge until the cartridge is actually completed and in production.

It has recently come to our attention that some Cricut users are upset that Provo Craft changed some of the artwork on "Life is a Beach."  While Provo Craft strives to make sure that the most accurate information is available for users to make informed decisions about our products, Provo Craft reserves the right to make changes to artwork without any notification.

We try our best to keep the retail websites that publish images and information about Cricut cartridges up to date with the most current information as possible, but sometimes we are not always able to do so.  Because of this, Cricut users should always refer to the Provo Craft website for the most recent and accurate information available.

We appreciate all your support of Provo Craft and its products.

Boo hoo to you  We should at least be able to cut the title of the cart, don't you think?? Will those last row of pics be on the Design Studio? If so, when will the update for DS be ready? Thnx

Doesn't Cricut have a QC Dept? Do they review the carts before going public? The soul purpose of us purchasing these carts are for the specific designs on them. How can you leave off "Life's a Beach" on the Life's a Beach cartridge? I am quite disappointed with Cricut right now. I have 95% of the cricut cartridges that are out there, I think this will be my last one purchased.

Disappointed in Vegas

I know a lot of people are upset but guess what....get over it! Enjoy the cartridge as it is. I love it and am very happy with it so far. Thanks for answering all the enquiries though.

I guess I have learned my lesson ... no more pre-orders on carts.  That way I will know exactly what is on the cart at final production and can then make an informed purchase.  It is strange that you can't cut out "Life's a Beach" from a cartridge with that name.  Oh well, you win some and you lose some.  JMHO

I agree.  Enjoy what you have.  Maybe Provocraft should just be a bit more carefull the next time.   And maybe "We are sorry" would help some ruffled feathers.

Becky,
Why didn't they change the name if they took the cut off that the cart was named after?
How about offering as a freeby to download to design studio. Since the update to DS hasn't been done for the cart, can't that be done at the same time? Could give Provo some good PR.
Remember that a lot of us that preorder these carts are the customers that are the cart collectors. Probably not a good group of customers to disservice in this economy. This makes me realize that I won't be ordering any more preorder carts and will just wait until they are out and fully tested by others so I know what I am getting.

I was so tempted to pre-order this cart even though it wasn't in the budget, Now I'm glad I didn't preorder.  The cuts that have been deleted were the ones I liked the best, and would have used the most.  I still want the cart, (because like others I want them all)  but now, I don't feel I have to have it, and I won't rearrange the budget because "I have to have it now"  I will just watch from a distance until the price drops and put it on the list of "Maybe in the future" carts!

I am going to enjoy this cartridge.  But, I have to say, that provocraft has to get better at posting the images then.  They used to post great images, and we could see exactly what the cartridge did.  But they don't any more, so we go looking for it elsewhere.  I feel ripped off, eventhough this cart will be fun to have.  It's just not right!

Where can I find a sample picture of what is in the cart?

I looked it up in here, but the link that shows a sample of the cart is gone.
Does anyone have a pic of the cart box that shows the items? OR maybe you can post a link to a picture of it.
Thanks!
Maria

I am enjoying this cartridge. there are so many fun items on this cartridge I can't complain. I'm only irritated I can't use this with design studio..frankly provo craft should have the design studio updates prepared and available BEFORE releasing cartridges, they go hand in hand don't they? At least give the customers a release date so we aren't left wondering. I can't wait to play with these images on DS!

For those who are so angry about the 6th row...."Things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out."
-- Art Linkletter, I nabbed this from another cricut user!!

To put this problem simply, the consumer relied upon artwork that was distributed by ProvoCraft to make a purchase of a product.  Whose fault was it that the consumer wasn't aware that the artwork may or may not be representative of what the final cartridge contains?  Did the retailer know this?  Did only PC know this?  That's definitely an issue that needs to be resolved before any more problems arise.  ProvoCraft should show some integrity about the products they sell, and do right by the consumer regardless of where the problem lies.

I haven't purchased this one yet.  I wait until the prices go down.  Most of the time I am able to get the cartridges under $25 through Ebay which Oh My Crafts is the seller.  The most expensive one was the Disney/Mickey one.

I don't care for the font on this one as I can use other cartridges I have.  I am liking the shapes.

I am not doing any beach layouts right now, so I have time to wait.

Good reason not to pre-order.  Also, they should supply good copies of what is on each cartridge because some of us can't see those tiny things on the back of the box!!!!

I just opened my life is a beach cartridge and noticed in the booklet that on each page there are 4 cuts that are "not available". Is this what was "left out"?

Wow!  I am baffled at some of this.  I pre-ordered and got exactly what images were posted, so I am not disappointed at all!  I am LOVING this cart and cannot wait to use it tomorrow at my all day crop.  I understand that some of you may be disappointed, but it seems that some of you are only disappointed because of one title...is it really necessary to quit buying such a great item over that?  I just think the majority of responses here are going a little overboard.  Relax...Life is a beach!

I just got the cartridge today after knowing about the disappointment over the missing graphics. I'm still happy. I've been wanting a beach one for a long time.
