I was so happy to be selected to Holly's 5 day Contest design team.  Holly is designing digital stamps and I was chosen to create a card from one of her beautiful stamps which can be seen at  http://blog.scrapallier.comThere is no cricut, but I used several mediums:

Sewing
Prisma pencils and MCPT
Prisma markers and blending
Fiskars punch
Inking
Inkadinkadoo stamp
White highlighting with gel pen
Dyed decorative accents (skittles)
Stickles for the girl's outfit, because she should be in sequins, right?

I hope everyone likes it, particularly Holly!

The minute I saw this design, I knew I wanted to do it in layers.

Here is the front of the card:

I hope here the layers can be seen.  I did 3 layers - bottom with the flames and words, then the heart then the lovers on the trapeze.  Lots of exacto knife cutting, but the design was perfect for this.

Here is the inside.  Sewed, stamped, highlighted:

Wow Patti!!! This is exactly why I wanted to see what other people would do with the stamp! This blows my mind. I would have never thought of doing it in layers this way. The stamp I just finished yesterday I thought of doing in layers so that part of it could be cut in SCAL separately. But if I'd thought of this and you had SCAL I could have given it to you in a way that you didn't have to xacto.

You did a beautiful job coloring it. And I love how you took a totally different color scheme approach!

Thanks so much for volunteering to be a part of my little experimental design team event!

Holly
