I was FINALLY able to complete a few projects with this AMAZING Design Studio software....Let me just say first that the reason I included in my subject A PROBLEM, is because I have had the full version of the software for about 1 week now and this software is so amazing that I have been able to just create all sorts of fun stuff saving on one mat right after the other...........which caused a problem in me not having to rush and go cut anything right away.......so really that is a little deceiving because there really ISN'T any problems with this software...at least for me...First off just being able to play with whatever cart I want and display all my cuts on the design screen before I cut is just AWESOME...and then to save them and come back to it later.....oh my that is super awesome....This is one of the major things I LOVE ABOUT THE SOFTWARE...Another thing that I noticed that I love is that right after I cut something, I can immediately go in and change things on my screen and the mat will stay right in the machine and start to cut wherever I ask it to....(can't remember if the regular machine does this)...so that saved me lots of time....let's see what else can I remember that I loved....oh yeah being able to see exactly on the mat where something will cut...........is a time saver and an awesome thing.....basically I could put my paper exactly where I wanted something to cut...love it.......okay so now that I have went on and on, here are a few projects that I just completed.....Most of these cuts I had saved on different mats and have been just playing with the cuts on the mats all week.....(I only had one major problem and that is when I had first installed the full version, I had spent like about 3 HOURS putting all these cuts together to have the darn thing freeze on me)...but I have learned to save my work...hasn't happened since...KNOCK ON WOOD...Anyways here it goes:

THERE ARE 4 PROJECTS....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
The first project, which was my first, is just a simple card that I created my OWN SCALLOPS WITH..........the white scallop on the side are made up of circles...I used the oval circle from the George Cart to make this...I just welded a whole bunch of circles in a line at the size I wanted and then I cut them out on the mat and attached to the card...LOVE THIS...SO MANY POSSIBILITIES ON DOING SCALLOPS NOW...The felt flowers are by Kc Company and the pattern paper is by Bohemia

by the way, sorry that I have so many post, I am still learning how to post
several pictures in one post...

Okay here is my welding project.........Yes this is a awesome thing that this software does.....I took the letters noe from the base camp cart and the L and I think the snowflakes are all from the Speaking of Winter cart....I was able to put all these cuts on one mat and then cut..I put them exactly where I wanted them on the mat...plus I was able to cut in different color the snowman L all in one cut....AWESOME I TELL YOU...The ribbon on the card is fabric and the pattern paper is by Ki Memories and Making Memories for the dot green paper....All of the letters and snowman are welded together...the top left snowflake is welded also...There is loads of glitter on the noe

This by far has to be my FAVORITE....I have lots going on here:

The hearts at the top are all welded to make a heart border......
I used the Tags bags and more to do the lunch bag cutting a heart in the middle of the bag, which I then cut out a bigger one in white and framed the opening...I added transparency to the inside section of the heart cut out and then put white dots on the transparency and another 3d heart...again I was able to do all these cuts on one shot......After doing this bag, My head is just spinning with all sorts of stuff I want to make...One great thing about these bags now, is that you can really utilize the full mat, this bag was actually a little taller, so no more when you use the expression and ask for FIT TO PAGE, do you have to get what they give you......I did the full page on this bag on the 12 by 12 and it gave me a bigger bag then the expression would have.....it came out really tall....I often just like to cut off some of the tops of mine........I took lots of different pictures of this bag...one showing tissue in it and one showing that I lined the inside with pink checks....this bag would also be good for like putting candy in that you can see through....WELP that is it for now...so all of you that are on the fence as to if you want the ds or not.....it REALLY REALLY REALLY is worth it...at least to me....If you don't want to download it and want a  HARD COPY....Hallmark Scrapbook has them and their customer service is awesome.....thanks for looking

Regina,  these projects are just beautiful!!  You have such a great imagination.  I don't understand when you say that you cut  the different colors of the snowman "L" in one cut.  Did you have to put small pieces of the colored paper on the cutting mat before you started cutting?  Ya know, I'm probably just going to have to get DS and figure it all out myself.  I am definitely a visual learner.  I know, maybe someone could make a video and post it here on the board.

I do hope you keep sharing your creations with us.  I can scraplift just about anything.  Guess I must have stepped out of line when God was handing out imagination.

Merry Christmas!!
