Cartridge Filters
- In the Images/Cartridges drawer, you can explore and view images contained in each Cricut^® cartridge. A Cricut^® cartridge is a collection of images. These cartridges can be filtered or sorted in multiple ways. Using the filters will help you find the right cartridges faster.
  
  My Cartridges - This is the default filter. It will display the digital images that are free, those you have purchased, and cartridges you have linked to your account. These are the images that you are able to cut.
  
  All Cartridges - This filter displays everything in the Cricut^® image library. You can explore images before you purchase them!
  
  Cricut Craft Room^® Exclusives - This filter displays image sets that are only available digitally. These are often affordable, smaller image collections.
  
  Cricut Cake^® - This filter displays cartridges with images specifically designed for use with the Cricut Cake^® and Cricut Cake^® Mini machines but can be used with any Cricut^® machine.
  
  Cricut^® Events - This filter displays Cricut^® Event cartridges. These cartridges contain images surrounding a specific life event such as baby showers or themed birthday parties.
  
  Cricut^® Everyday - This filter displays Cricut^® Everyday cartridges. These cartridges contain images that are perfect for cards, scrapbooks, home décor, and other projects.
  
  Cricut^® Famous Friends - This filter displays Cricut^® Famous Friends cartridges. These cartridges contain images of some of your favorite licensed characters.
  
  Cricut Imagine^® - This filter displays artwork specifically designed to be printed and cut with the Cricut Imagine^® machine. Make sure to check the box next to Show Cricut Imagine^® Images to activate this filter.
  
  Cricut^® Lite - This filter displays Cricut^® Lite cartridges. These cartridges contain fewer images.
  
  Cricut^® Projects - This filter displays Cricut^® Projects cartridges. These cartridges contain images to create a specific type of project such as 3D flowers, boxes, and stencils.
  
  Cricut^® Seasonal - This filter displays Cricut® Seasonal cartridges. These cartridges contain images related a specific season or holiday.
  
  Font Cartridges - This filter displays all Cricut^® cartridges that contain a font. Some of these cartridges may have several fonts separated on the different Creative Feature tabs.
  
  Bookmarks - This filter displays Cricut^® cartridges that you have chosen to bookmark. This filter can be your own customized favorites list. To learn more about bookmarks, click here.
  
  Wish List - This filter displays Cricut^® cartridges that you have added to your Wish List. This filter will help you keep track of the cartridges you want to add to your collection. To learn more about the Wish List, click here.

Search
- In the Image Search, you can search the Cricut^® image library by typing in a keyword or image description. Simply type your search term in the field and click Search. The results will display images you own first, followed by additional images from other cartridges. You can drag and drop images from your search directly onto your mat!
  
  Image View: In this view, all images that match your search are displayed together. Images you have linked or purchased will appear first with a small, green link icon in the lower right corner. These are images you are already able to cut. Results from other cartridges will display next. Mouse over a search result to see what cartridge that image is from.
  
  When you mouse over a search result, a small arrow will appear in the upper left corner. Click the arrow to select from three options: (1) Add to Wish List, (2) Bookmark, or (3) Go to Cartridge.
  
  Add to Wish List - Selecting this option will add the cartridge that contains this image to your Wish List. To learn more about the Wish List, click here

  Bookmark - Selecting this option will add the cartridge that contains this image to your Bookmarks—your “favorites” list. To learn more about Bookmarks, click here

  Go to Cartridge - Selecting this option will take you back to the Images/Cartridges section of the drawer and display the cartridge that contains this image.
  
  Cartridge View: In this view, the search results will display the cartridges that contain images that match your search. The cartridges you own will be listed first and the name will be bolded. When you click on the green arrow, the images will be displayed with the feature tab they appear on. Results from other cartridges will display next.
  
  You can also bookmark or add cartridges to your Wish List from here. When the cartridge has been bookmarked or added to the Wish List, it will be displayed in a gray font rather than green.
  
  The cartridge view also provides ways for you to link and buy cartridges.
  
  The Link button will let you link the selected cartridge to your Cricut.com account. If the Link button is grayed out, you have already linked this cartridge and can cut the images. Click here to learn more about linking.
  
  The Buy button will take you to the Cricut.com shopping cart to purchase the digital images or cartridges selected. If the Buy button is grayed out, you have already purchased this cartridge and can cut the images. If the Buy button does not appear, the cartridge or images are not available to purchase at this time. Click here to learn more about buying digital cartridges.
  
  The Link and Buy buttons do not appear for free digital images

Creative Feature Tabs and Shift Key
- When a cartridge is selected in the Images/Cartridges drawer, you may notice extra folders just above the image thumbnails. These folders—also known as Creative Features—contain additional images available on the cartridge.
  
  The first folder—called Basic—contains the basic images for the selected cartridge. These images are also known as the base images. The number of additional folders will vary from cartridge to cartridge.
  
  Many Cricut^® cartridges contain layered images. A layered image contains two or more pieces that fit together to make the final image. For example, the a frog from the Create a Critter cartridge has four pieces, each found on a different Creative Feature tab. Use the Layer tabs across the top of the screen and add each piece to a different mat layer. This makes it easy to cut the pieces on the right colored papers.   The Show Shift/Lock Images button may also display additional images available on the cartridge. If you are working with a Cricut^® font, the Show Shift/Lock Images button will display the uppercase letters for most cartridges. The shift key may also contain additional images for each Creative Feature tab. Please consult the cartridge handbook for more information.

Cricut Imagine^® Images
- A Show Cricut Imagine^® Images checkbox is located under the cartridge list in the Image Drawer. By default, Cricut Imagine^® images are only accessible if your default machine is the Cricut Imagine^® machine. If you would like to view and design with Cricut Imagine^® content when you have a different default Cricut^® machine, check the box next to Show Cricut Imagine^® Images.
