Design with Multiple Layers

The layer tabs in the Cricut Craft Room® design software allow you to design with multiple mats or sheets within one project. If your project uses multiple colors of paper or different materials, you can create a layer for each material. As you add images to the mat, you can place them on the appropriate layer tab. When you are ready to cut your project, each layer/mat can be cut separately on the correct material

The Choose Color window will pop up. Select one of the basic colors on the left or customize your color using the color wheel or RGB values. Click Apply to save your changes. Select the white box with the red slash to remove a layer color completely and only display the image outlines.
