Gypsy™ Design Challenge

Compete in the Gypsy 24-hour Design Challenge! The project with the most votes wins and will be announces on October 30th on the message boards and in person at the Grand Opening of Michael’s new Manhatten Store.

You will only be allowed to vote 1 time.

Inspiration: My beautiful daughter, Shelby

Instructions: 1. Using Gypsy Wanderings on Gypsy- size "Winter" border (shadow) to 11.6" X 3.35". Cut using Cricut Expression on light blue cardstock. 2. Using Gypsy, size "Winter" border to 11.37" X 3.35". Cut using white cardstock. 3. Using small pieces of cardstock, glue black paper behind snowman's eyes, orange behind nose and pink behind swirl. 4. Glue "Winter" border to "Winter" border shadow cut. 5. Using Gypsy Wanderings on Gypsy, size snowman accesories (hat, scarf, arms) to 2.10" X 2.65". Cut on Cricut once onto pink cardstock, once onto brown & once onto patterned paper. 6. Glue brown arms, patterned scarf and hat to snowmen. Attach finished "Winter" border to top of 12x12 page. 7. Using Gypsy font on Gypsy, size "wonderland" and "wonderland" shadow to 7.54" X 1.25". Cut "wonderland" in white, "wonderland" shadow in light blue. Attach letters to shadows and adhere to page under "Winter" border. 8. Using Speaking of Winter cartridge on Gypsy, size mittens to 4.64" X 8" and mittens shadow to 3.48" X 7.47". Cut mittens in light blue, shadow in pink and cuff in patterned paper. Assemble mittens. 9. Mount photo onto patterned paper cut .25" larger than photo on each side. 10. Free-hand cut "hills" using three different patterned papers and adhere starting from bottom of page up. 11. Attach mounted photo. 12. Attach mittens using foam dots/tape to left bottom corner of photo. Attach button on snowman's hand with foam dot/tape. Wrap twine above button and down to mittens, glue underneath mittens. 13. Use adhesive rhinestones to decorate snowman's hats, mitten cuffs and the "i" in "winter". Attach rhinestone snowflake stickers.
