Compete in the Gypsy 24-hour Design Challenge! The project with the most votes wins and will be announces on October 30th on the message boards and in person at the Grand Opening of Michael’s new Manhatten Store. You will only be allowed to vote 1 time. Inspiration: Fall Instructions: 1. Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 5.25"x10.5" and fold in half. 2. Draw a 3.5" square on the front of your card. 3. Draw a 3.25" square on the inside of the 3.5" square. 4. With a ruler, draw an X in the middle of these squares. 5. Using a craft knife, cut the square. 6. Score on two square lines. 7. Turn the card over and score on all of the score lines. 8. Cut a piece of patterned paper to measure 5"x5". 9. Place on the front of your card with repositionable tape and turn over. 10. Using your craft knife, cut out the center of your patterned paper. 11. Remove the center and attach your patterned paper with permanent adhesive. 12. Cut a square the same size as the piece you just removed out of another piece of patterned paper. 13. Attach this piece of paper inside of your recessed square. 14. Cut a second square for the inside of the card. 15. Cut the word "Hope" from Gypsy Wandering at 2.5". I cut the word and two shadows. I cut one shadow out of chipboard to add dimension. 16. Cut bird from Gypsy font at 2". 17. Cut 6 leaves from Stretch Your Imagination at 2". Use a marker to enhance the veins on the leaves. 18. Cut a 4.75"x4.75" mat and a 4.5"x4.5" mat for the inside of the card. 19. Ink the edges of all cut outs and paper. 20. Assemble the word hope and glue it into the center of the card with a zip two way glue pen. 21. Attach a piece of ribbon across the bottom of the card with ATG gun. 22. Attach 4 leaves to the bottom left-hand corner of the card with ATG gun. 23. Run bird thru Cuttlebug using D'vine Swirl folder. 24. Using pop-dots, attach the bird to the front of the card in the leaves. 25. Attach both mats to the inside of the card. 26. Using an EK corner punch, make and ink photo corners. 27. Attach photo corners to the mats. 28. Add last two remaining leaves to the bottom right-hand corner of the inside of the card.
