I cut out the top and bottom at both 3 1/2 inches but the bottom doesn't seem to fit. I can get slide it in the top but it is really, really tight. is there a trick to this? Should i make the bottom cut a little smaller?

Hi Dorleen,
I just made this and thanks to your post made my bottom piece a smidgen smaller, it fits very tightly, but well.
Made a little drawer with gift tags in it as the gift itself.
