I just got this cartridge last month and love it. There are many surprises on it and the font is wonderful.

I am having trouble getting to the font, any suggestions? I press the top left corner button that says font but nothing changes...

You need to use the font diagram on the pamphlet to figure out which letter is on which key. The font key & shift lock is for the capital letters. If you have Design Studio or CCR, you can more easily get to the letters. Not sure machine you have but the screen on the Expression will show which letter you selected. Hope that helps...
