I want to invest in a heat press. But I'm not sure which one would best fit the Yudu needs. I want it affordable one for the hobbist. Any Ideas?

J's usually has good quality and you might be able to use a coupon.
If you check out silkscreen websites/forum there is a lot of chatter about different heat set options that include heat gun and your oven. For me I just decided it wasn't that big of a deal, the iron works fine and if I do a lot of shirts I ask the reciepents to do their own ironing. Typically, for events like the soccer team or VBS, they are thrilled to have an inexpensive way to get custom shirts and people are fine with doing the ironing.
However, if you are selling shirts I would think a press is a must.

I just bought at 15x15 press on Amazon for about $200. You can set the heat and set the timer. I've only used it a couple of times so far - once for setting yudu artwork and also for patches. I hope to get some heat transfer vinyl one day, too. I think it is wonderful because I HATED sitting with an iron for what seemed like forever. Now I can get a design done in 30-60 seconds and move on. I love mine.

They have a few different ones on Amazon, would you mind sharing a link to the one you got?

I was looking on ebay and there are sooooo many choices--at so many price points! It is hard to know which is right. I, too, would love to know which one you got!!

http://www.amazon.com/Cl...id=1318467684&sr=8-1I hope this helps and did this right! There is also a red one, which is the one I got. They come with a teflon sheet but I also bought a second one. If you put in "heat press machines" into the search, it should be the first one to show up. It's a little bulky and heavy but I love it. I bought a couple of cinderblocks to set it on in the corner. (I'm in a smaller rental house right now and just am making due with the little space. The dining room is turing into my craft room...I miss my old one...sniff!)I ordered it on a Monday morning and had it by Wednesday (but I guess that depends where you live, too) I hope this helps with some ideas.
