I am not a happy Bunny!!Angry
I've had a standard email reply back from Ebay telling me that the seller has requested that I send the goods back for a full refund!!Mad I have emailed the seller 3 times over the last few days and had no reply but according to Ebay he has replied to them? I don't think so! It is not an individual response from Ebay - it is an automated/standard reply. I have tried for nearly 2 hours to get a phone number for Ebay - no such luck. I can't get past the Resolution Centre at all it just keeps taking me back to the position the case is in now - send back the goods with a tracking number and I have to do it by the 18thAugust!! So I wrapped the bands back up, copied and pasted his address - which looks totally ridiculous (even the PO said that) - then the shock came - it was going to cost me £10.57 to send it with a tracker!!! Cursing So I had to pay over £10 to get £13 back - I didn't do it - I have sent it normal post and it cost £2.58. So now I have no tracker but I do have proof of posting so Ebay probably won't take my case any further. If any of you can obtain the 0208 number for Ebay can you give it to me please. I have found the 0800 number but the automated voice wants a pin number and I don't have that. I can't even go through the channels to get the pin number through the Ebay website! It's all too much for me I'm afraid so if I have lost what I paid then so be it. I will NEVER buy for HK again. I reckon every buyer is going to have the same problem trying to get their money back.

Rant over! Angry - How is everyone? LOL
Michelle - I have Baby Boutique - it is lovely but the pink papers are missing on the carts - unless you maybe get one of the newer ones that came out after the error was discovered.
Karen - Glad the sun is shining for you and that you are enjoying your holiday Love What was the Reward Bag? I will pop 'over' and see if I can see it on the Rewards site.
Adele - hope all is well with you - haven't had a chance to try the wee box yet - but I will - when I calm down Flapper Hope hubby is well - did you hear any more about the results of the tests?

Everyone else - I hope you are basking in the sunshine - it's even sunny here today Love BigGrin

Oh LyndaLove I am sorry for all your frustrations, what the heck is going on with PayPal, maybe they are already aware of this seller being a scammer and are inundated with Ebayer's demanding their money back, you deserve better service than thatSad
Hubby had the all clear from colonoscopy though is still suffering a bit with his tummy, so waiting to see what the Doctor suggests, Thanks for asking SweetieLove
Hope your day improves my lovely

Hi Lynda,

I am sorry to hear about the nightmare you are having. In a way i am not surprised. I once had a really bad experience with ebay and paypal and to this day never got all my money back (only about a quarter) after buying a lap top. Paypal were useless and I stopped shopping and using them for over a year. They only gave me back what they could recover and while the stupid resolutions go on it gives the fraudsters time to withdrawn all their funds and close their funding sources which is what they did to me or if there is no money in their account you cannot claim it back. I was alarmed when I saw the same item being resold and even though I gave all the details to ebay and paypal they were useless. I couldn't even prevent the next person being had too Crying so it was awful.

Saying that I knew all this when I took the gamble and purchased this cart and they know that the majority of us won't return the items either. What a shame Nick wasn't going back to China as he could have got them in the country and then posted them from there at a cheaper cost!!!!

Have you been able to leave negative feedback? have paypal responded to you???

I wonder what happens if we refuse to accept delivery? does anyone know? will they be forced to refund me?

Nightmare.

Adele - make sure you take time to relax today.

Karen - Apparently that is exactly what you should do - refuse delivery and let the Postman take it back. Just make sure you have something to say you have refused it.

I have just managed to speak to Customer Support - in India Glare Have to say she was lovely. She said there is nothing I can do until 23rd. August and I can then escalate the case to Ebay. She mentioned refusing delivery but of course all that was too late for me. I wasn't at home when it was delivered either. I reckon if I had seen the size of the package I might have refused it but possibly not - cause I was too nosey to see what they had sent LOL
At the end of the day I shouldn't have purchased it - but I thought why not? I am covered with Paypal Angry It's not loads of money but it makes you angry just the same!

Lynda,

What do you mean? have something to say? have something to say to post person? Is it sent tracked? so will I easily be able to identify it and refuse it? i expect I have a card waiting and it's at the sorting office. I will go there and tell them I don't want it and refuse it. Is that what you mean?

I probably still won't get any money back as they have prob done a runner and have no funds to claim back but at least I won't have to spend anymore sending it back.

I agree it was our risk and it was worth a go but lesson learnt

Karen - Sorry I have just read my post back - it doesn't sound right Blushing
What I meant was - make sure you have signed something that proves you have sent it back. The postman should have a paper for you to sign to say it has gone back. of course if you are not at home then you can still refuse deliver - I would think you would just have to go to the sorting office and instead of collecting it tell them you want to refuse the delivery.
I can't understand how Ebay are saying that the Seller has replied to them saying I have to return it for a full refund. He hasn't answered any of my emails and I would think he has gone to ground by now. Yes - you are right - a lesson learned! Cursing x

Thanks Lynda BigGrin I will see what happens ... and will let you know.

I know what you mean that they are saying that the seller has responded surely they can see the messages aren't being replied to or at least if anyone can it should be them.

I posted a thread on the ebay community asking about refusing delivery (I know this is too late for you) and this was earlier I asked before you replied and this was the reply just now: -
...

Hi,

Yes, you can refuse delivery.
Tracked items are kept at the sorting office for 7 days before being returned to sender.

You have 45 days from making payment to open an Item Not Received dispute via the Resolution Centre.

Hopefully your friends have left appropriate feedback for the seller to warn others?! The seller has made their feedback private now, so won't be able to sell again until they unhide it!

....

I hope this hasn't spoilt your day Lynda and you have managed to get some crafting done etc.

Hope everyone else is having or had a good day?

Karen xx

Karen - I left negative feedback immediately and so had 7 others at that point. His feedback is now Private so I couldn't read what others had put I could only see that there were 7 Negatives and there had been no negs up till then. No it hasn't spoiled my day - I've just been really angry! Angry Thanks for showing me the bag. It looks nice - not sure if I would use one that size though. Love

Hi Adele - Glad that there was nothing discoverable or wrong with your hubbies tests but I am so sorry to hear he is still not very well. I hope that this means you are doing ok?

Hi Lynda - Yes, I realised you would have left appropriate feedback ... I think they were just making sure. I saw that it had been made private and my mind boggled to what everyone must have written. I expect ebay have been inundated with concerns over that seller.

Hi Esther - I like bags too and have made myself a material tote that i can roll up in my handbag as a spare bag instead of using carriers I am going to make my Mum one in material similar to Cath Kidston prints/style

Hi everybody.

Lynda - am sooooo sorry for all the hassle you're having with the Hong Kong Pooey scam. I really thought Paypal/Ebay would be your safety net (and all you others who ordered). It's absolutely disgusting that they're allowed to get away with it.

Not feeling too good today, so having a good rest methinks. Did too much walking round local roadworks yesterday - result not only is my left foot banging, bad news is that the other foot is starting to have the same complaint OhMyGod I knew it would at some point because when I walk I'm trying to keep weight off left foot, obviously right foot is taking the flack! Can't wait for some kind of therapy now but still waiting for appointment.

Adele - am sooooo pleased that hubby has negative results - you must be so relieved Wub Wub Hope they can sort him out with the pain now.

Bye for now. Going back to bed to catch forty winks hopefully

Hi Lynda I received the same message from ebay, I have not been to the Post Office yet but I am going to send my item back even if it costs £10 because it is the only way someone else will take responsibility. I think it is ridiculous that ebay know it is a scam and still make us pay to send the junk back to them. I see the sellers feedback has dropped from 100% to 80 something, although you cannot see what people have said as he has made it privateAngry Cursing Crying

I have had a bad couple of days, my Gypsy died yesterday, it is out of warranty, does anyone know if I will be able to get my carts put on to a new gypsy if I get one? Cursing Crying

I bought the better together cartridge and it did not work, I had bought it from ebay from US when I contacted support they would not take anything to do with it because it was not from UK registered seller, however the seller told me to send it back and gave me a refund, she said it only needed my Imagine to be updated, I had tried that before contacting anyone, cricut sync showed it was up to date. I sent for a new better together, bought it from Proudparents on ebay but I am having the same problem, again I have tried updating my Imagine but still no luck, I have only had my Imagine for around 6-8 weeks I have six imagine carts and all the others have had no problem loading. I must also say I did not have a problem with my Gypsy before it was linked to the Imagine (maybe coincidence) ready for binning the lot I am so frustrated Mad Glare Huh Angry Blushing Confused

Hi AnnehBigGrin
Firstly with regard to your Imagine, is your numbers
version 1.01 (0115:0028:0239:202A) ? if so then you are certainly up to date

As regard for the Gypsy, my Gypsy had to go back to C&C because the firmware was corrupted after a download from C-Sync via CCR, after waiting over 2 weeks for a replacement, they gave me a refund as they have no stock, 2 weeks later and still no stockAngry
So I am in the same boat as you, when I eventually do get another Gypsy from C&C (can't buy from anyone other than them as they are PC approved) I have over 40 regular carts that were already linked to my old Gypsy, I am keeping in contact with PC (US) regarding my free carts and my previously linked carts, being transferred onto the new Gypsy (when I eventually manage to get oneAngry)

Heather - hows your back now?

Everyone else - hope everyone is ok and getting lots of crafting time, certainly looks like it from the other thread as there are several projects showing.

Sorry to hear the HK supplier didnt come true, i must admit i hadnt spotted the cheap carts but i may have also been tempted to try it!

Anyone heard when new imagine carts are being released? I read somewhere there were some being released soon i thought!

Adele Love Love Love Love I have just seen the other thread (and your post above) and I love Flounder Love Love Love You are so clever and so kind Love Love Love

Anneh - So sorry about your Gypsy and issues with the cartridge.

Pauline - sorry about your other foot and hope that 40 winks helped a bit

Internet a mind of its own hence had trouble getting on here today ... but it seems to have settled down now. Been roller skating again at the rink and a woman fell hard and they had to call an ambulance. I have probably taught 3 kids to skate in the last week. They always talk to me and I end up helping them and my DD says I have the patience of a saint LOL but I like to help others and its really rewarding seeing them get to achieve skating on their own.

Hi KarenLove
You're very welcome my lovelyLove I knew you loved Flounder hence the magnet/card,
Unfortunately CCR wouldn't cut it correctly (it cut all pieces individually, instead of a complete composite) SO I wasted a whole sheet of magnet, so your magnet is a true magnetic object, pretty weighty tooBigGrin

I've just been on the phone to another Gypsy retailer who claim to have access to PC customer services, if all works out I will have a Gypsy pretty soon, just waiting on confirmation from Dallas Neath in USA to see if it's OK..fingers crossedBigGrin Gosh I miss my GypsySad

It's nice to be able to help other's, it's good for the soulBigGrin the 3 people you helped will be thankful to you foreverThumpUp
Have a great evening hunnie
Hugs

Adele - so sorry about the magnet material ... I can easily send you some back to replace or something else you might want instead from SU as I am putting in an order tomorrow. Is there anything you want?

Hope you get your Gypsy soon.

Oh bless your heart KarenLove
No thank you hunnie, I have more, it was just annoying that CCR wasted the magnetic sheet, so what I originally planned to make you had to changeSad
I am still waiting on feedback from USA, as soon as I know it's OK, I'm buying the Gypsy, it's driving me nuts being without itSad
Have a great evening my lovelyLove

Quick post before I take the doggie out and go to bed - been to work today so I'm knackered! Blink
Adele - Who is Dallas Neath??Blushing So pleased to hear thay your hubby's test results were clear Love I had the colonoscopy last year - I wouldn't say it was the most pleasant of examinations Blushing How are you now - hopefully getting stronger by the day? Love the Flounder card etc over the way - that is the first Flounder I've seen LOL Which cart is he (she) on? I have another question - when you cut the magnets do you cut the magnet backing separate or do you stick paper onto the magnet and print & cut paper & magnet together IYKWIM Blushing Sorry - never done magnets before - I have the magnet strip and sheets and I wouldn't mind having a go at doing them for the youngest granddaughter. Hope you get a new Gypsy. I have been thinking about getting one but I am worried about the syncing and updating etc. A lot of people have had problems connecting it to the I and some of them their I has gone kaput in the process OhMyGod so it's kind of putting me off.

Karen - I bet you were delighted with your 'pressie' it was lovely!!

Anneh - I reckon EVERYONE is getting the same email to send the goods back - absolutely diabolical!ThumbDown When the cashier in PO said it would be over £10 I thought to myself "I've got to pay out over £23 to get £13.50 back - no way"!! I just couldn't do it - China is going to say they haven't received it anyway and I do still have proof of posting although that won't matter to Ebay or Paypal but I will fight on! There is more than me done the same thing. The maddening thing is that Ebay are now closing their shops down but for every one that they close - another 2 opens up the next day so they scam as much as they can then Ebay catches on that they have opened up shop again - and they close that one down and so on........ Ebay need to get a b...dy grip and stop them once and for all!!
Sorry to hear about your Gypsy Anne ThumbDown Hope you can get your carts sorted out - Adele will help you Wub Love

Hope everyone has had a good day - it's been mixed here today but mostly sunny! Night night Love

Hi LyndaLove
Dallas Neath is a Provo Craft employee who helps the European customer, he knows we can't just send our Gypsy's to PC to have the new Gypsy serial number linked to the old one, so he should come up with a solution for me hopefully.

Magnetic Sheets are used on the mat just like cardstock, it prints and cuts beautifullyBigGrin (unless you use CCR)Sad I buy mine here

Flounder is on Disney, Dreams Come True cart.

The Gypsy is a great tool, I miss mine terribly, it is so easy to use, though the screen is small, it is useful to see the other carts that are available and you can play with them before you decide to buyBigGrin Also you can colour your regular cuts using the Imagine app on it, making it very useful for Disney cut's especiallyThumpUp
Hope I answered your questions BigGrin
Night night Sweetie

Hi everyone! I did'nt get home until very late last evening and have been busy today, collecting cat from cattery, washing, shopping, had visits off all the grandchildren etc,no time to breath! I tried to type a post on sunday evening from MIL's netbook but the keys are so small i got fed up with it! I had considered getting one, mainly so i dont have to keep bringing my Imagine downstaires to do updates but am now having second thoughts, too small and my eyesight is not what it was either.
We had a lovely time in Whitby, only a couple of showers so cant complain about the weather, went on a jet boat, mini golf, bowling, had some nice meals and visited the craft shop yesterday before we left, picked up a few bargains:30 sheets of Bazzil bling 12x12 for £4.99,20 assorted decoupage sheets for £1!!,some ribbons, rubber stamps that were half price,i wanted to buy loads of stuff but had to be sensibleThumbDown.I would still like the Mellisa frances stuff i saw at dunelm but will have to wait until next week, hopefully they will still have some of it left.We visited MIL everyday at the hospital, she is in very good spirits and is making some progress but it is going to be a while before she can go home, they are now saying it will be the end of september at the earliest but she has accepted that she has no choice, luckily she has made friends with the lady in the bed across from her,she has been in since may! On friday when we went up it was MIL's birthday, unfortunately we could'nt take her out so we took a cake in and hubby had the idea of taking in party bags, just like children would take homeLOL,we put stupid things in like a water pistol,a keyring, notebook, gold coins, sweets and a party hat,she thought it was great and kept her hat on all dayLOL It was just a bit of fun but she loved it.In the evening hubby,Tez,Mel and me went to the pub and raised a glass to her, shame she could'nt have one. All in all,it was a good long weekendThumpUp
Before i went away i had updated my Imagine so i could use flower shoppe but have found that it was ripping the paper when i tried to cut,i changed the blade but it did'nt make any difference,i shall have to look at it when i have some time, maybe i will have to calibrate everything again.I did get some cuts from FS via the e2 and really like it,loads of combinations with the various petals, leaves etc.Hope you are all keeping well, hav'nt had chance to read everyone's post yet but did catch what's been going on with the HK purchases,i am so sorry that it turned out to be scam and that it's costing you to return the items you were sent,i dont know how some people sleep at night ripping folk off like that, hope you get a good outcome.Must go anyway,i think i am going to get an early night, might read for a bit. May not be on very early tomorrow as i will have all the ironing to catch up onThumbDown Goodnight allSleep

Hi AnnLove
Glad you had a good time, the break does you the world of goodThumpUp
How nice that your MiL has made a friend, they can keep each other company, as for the party bags...Where's mine ?!!!BigGrin
Regarding the netbook, I don't recommend it for updating the Imagine/Gypsy etc. they haven't the capacity, a notebook or laptop are fine thoughBigGrin
My Flower Shoppe cuts like a dream on the Imagine, maybe it's your pressure that's too high
Anyway time for bed
Night night
Hugs

Hiya all. Just wanted to say beware of sending your items back cos u might not get money back either. It's a shame these people give Hong Kong a bad name as there are so many things they could sell legitamately and make money on. If the feedback is private I never bid on stuffnow. Sorry u all got scammed but thanks for trying.

We havin really good weather here. Went to Belfast yesterday and walked our legs off. Going to Giants Causeway today. Hope everyone is well or feeling better today. Susan. Xx
