Morning, and welcome Anneh,

Anneh - have you hit the report seller button on Ebay? and opened a dispute on paypal? we shall do the same if our items don't arrive.

The reason they send something out is to buy time because they have given you tracking info and gives them time to scarper I suppose and then they will say we received the item .... I am not surprised either.

Hope everyone has a good day. I have a headache as Ben has been very aggressive today and keeps pulling my hair ... my poor scalp aches. His medication has very little effect at the moment but our next review is not until October and he is on maximum dose anyway so I just don't know. As I have been on the brunt of it this morning Nick has told me to go skating with Courtney after lunch which will be a relief .... if my head stops hurting.

Take care,

Karen xx

It is so easy to criticise someone's efforts to try something new while sitting on the fence!LOL LOL LOL So, well done girls I hope that you are refunded pronto you definitely deserve to be.ThumpUp ThumpUp ThumpUp

My sister and I ordered from the same seller in Hongkong, we didn't get a phone cable, we both received 2 Micro SD card adaptors and I noticed someone else mention on UK scrappers they had received 2 phone charms. I thought it may be a scam but as it was so cheap, give it a go and if it didn't work out we could always claim our money back from E-Bay or Pay pal. I opened a dispute on E-Bay and e-mailed that wretched seller, don't expect I'll hear back from him. Looks like his trading under two different names now, Wobbi-Bobbi and Menglan, and its a shame as I see people are still buying from them, but paying higher prices. Mad Angry

Thanks for the welcome to the forum, this seems to be a lovely helpful group of ladies.BigGrin Blink

I have opened a dispute with ebay over the Hong Kong order. It was worth a try but as someone else says if it sounds to good to be true it usually is, but we got a laugh at the items sent out, I have still another item to get, as I was greedy and ordered the Imagine bundle and Lori's Garden, hopefully we will be refunded. Blushing LOL

Adele you responded to another of my posts on another topic, when I was frustrated about the better together cartridge I had bought from US and it did not work, I sent it back and the seller has refunded my payment, she said that I only needed to update my Imagine, but I had tried all that and other carts worked before and after that one.Cool BigGrin LOL

Karen, I am sorry that you have had a bad day, I have in the past supported young people with Autism and it can be very difficult, my husband works for NAS he is on the maintenance team at a school for autistic children and young adults. Mellow

I have had my Imagine for two months and have not made any cards with it yet, I have an expression and a gypsy, have had them for ages, I need some inspiration ladies!!!!!!!LOL BigGrin

Thanks,
Anne

Just wanted to add my thanks for those of you that tried the Hong Kong supplier. Like Heather says there are those of us that would've ordered in a flash if he'd turned out to be legit...me included!

So Karen, what's it to be for your mystery package a phone cable, hair bobble, cuddly toy? BigGrin

Hope everyone is having a lovely evening. Wub

Hi Barbara BigGrin

You lucky wee thing!! I could have used that adaptor! LOL Flapper I've had a good look at mine - tiny it is (if you pardon the expression Blink ) and it is only a rubber band with what looks like a clip on the end!! Cursing I have laughed all day at this - but in all honesty it really ain't funny Mellow I bet they have made a mint out of us - they sold 102 Lori's and then there is all the other stuff. Yes we probably will get refunded but because of all these scammers Paypal will be putting up their fees to cover costs etc - it's like shopifting, prices go up to cover their losses. Yes - I reckon the other 2 sellers are the same bunch and they have put the prices up quite a bit for the Imagine.

I have spent this (later) afternoon using All Wrapped Up - I like it BigGrin Some nice wee boxes and cards on it. It takes a wee bit figuring out - well it did for me. I cut the envelope at Fit to Page - it came out about 5.7 'ish but when I cut the card it was too big. It took me about 3 attempts to get it right. How can I see how big the Fit to Page is goingto be? On the E if I used FTP it told me the size so I knew how to cut the card to fit the envelope. Now I've never used FTP for ages so maybe I am forgetting something.

Just had to get up and turn the TV over - I ain't no prude but whatever I was watching he used the 'F' word 5 times in less than a minute! Can't be listening to that I'm afraid. You never heard things like that on telly when I was a kid - far too much of it these days OhMyGod
Hope everyone has had a good day - Wub

Afternoon Wub

Lovely projects Adele & Heather Love I have a small problem though.....it wont let me thank you for your post Heather?? I will try again in a bit.

Just been for a walk to pick blackberries, my little Darlings winged all the way round, actually mainly Oscar & he's the one addicted to blackberries. Apparently he was 'completely boiling' Unsure If we ever make it to Florida he'll be in for a shock. We've been in August 2 or 3 times & man it's hot!

Will try & craft a bit this evening (probably non cricut) I've been too busy so far this week. So far I've got rid of 22 bags to the charity shop. A big box of toys to Baby Daisy, a playhouse, rocker, picnic bench & play cube. There's lots on ebay too! Any new little ones I take on will still have loads to play with so you can imagine how much stuff I had.Blushing

Much love

Afternoon,

Lovely and sunny here and we popped to Poole for a drive and a short walk. Ben pulled everyones hair but mine today as I am too savvy and dodge him after yesterday.

Heather - Yes, I am hoping the roller skating is helping its certainly like exercise only more fun, if that makes sense. Ref Ben he has a raging temper and I think sees red and just hits, kicks, pinches, grabs, bites and pulls hair. He can be smiling one moment then just hit out for no reason the next as he has a very split personality which is not easy to live a long side as it makes you very wary all of the time but as you say he has no idea at all and we know its not his fault and its sad too as I guess he must feel very out of sorts a lot of the time. I gather you have added a card or project on the other thread so i will go and check that next.

Lynda - I can't wait to see what I get ... and Karel. I might not find out until I am home because I got it sent there thinking it would take much longer. Have you heard back from ebay or paypal?

Adele - I know what you mean. I am using up a lot of 'other' craft stuff too. I also have to feed my SU habit too and of course at the moment sewing is a top passion of mine. I have just made Courtney a hair band. I always look forward to your projects and cards though.

Esther - clearing out is always good. I need to do our loft. Sadly Ben never played with all his gifts when he was younger and he doesn't play with age appropriate toys now and people (family and friends) still insist on buying presents that normal boys his age like but he is not interested. He likes Rubber ducks and cardboard books and plastic things he can chew or with texture. He chews everything (including our furniture) so we have to choose carefully. I suppose the sort of toys he loves best look more like dog toys (sorry I know that sounds bad but its probably the best description) or bath toys and yet we have some lovely little people, Thomas and other toys here all untouched. I ought to clear them out and get him something he will enjoy.

Karen xx

I lived in Florida a few years ago, the weather never changes, it's always hot no matter what time of year, the only difference is the humidity, so I'm sure if you've been before it will be more or less the same ThumpUp

Wow, just back from the other thread. Nice work Heather and Adele.

Heather - love those backing papers used like that.

Adele - I am in the planning stages for Christmas. Normally I make my cards during August but seem to be more relaxed this year. I am hoping the Imagine will make it easier for me LOL

Heather & Adele - Lovely work over the way! BigGrin
I really like that music sheet paper on Imagine More I have been using it quite a bit lately for different bits and pieces.
I am going to have a go at Adele's box Blink I was making boxes from the All Wrapped Up cart yesterday and today I have been tring Sweet Tooth Boxes - so Adele's is next!! Adele - can I ask you how heavy is the patterned card you used for the box?

Lovely day here today - smitterings of showers but on the whole it's been nice.

Karen - The mind boggles as to what you will receive!! Over on UKS they have been receiving SD adaptors - so that's Phone Cords,SD adaptors and my rubber thing with the clip on it!! Heather could well be right - it might be a bracelet. It's actually thinner than a hair bobble and fastens at one end - wouldn't last 5 mins! You have been busy with your new sewing machine! It's really good that you can take your crafting stuff with you - it makes all the difference.
Esther - you sure have had a clear out! Flapper Doesn't it make you feel better when you get rid of stuff? I have loads I could sell on Ebay or a boot sale but I have only ever sold 2 craft DVD's on Ebay and I've never had a boot sale!!
Well I am going to make my tea - I have been 'picking' all day and I'm trying to loose weight for my holidays Angry
TTFN Love

Hi LyndaBigGrin
The Papermania stack I used for the Christmas box was 220gsm, I usually use 300gsm for construction projects but didn't have any double sided in that weight and wasn't going to use the 12x12 Imagine setting just to print 2 double sided papers for the boxHuh
Too much ink for a gift box that will only be trashedBlushing Is that the Scottish in me ?!!!LOL LOL LOL
Anyway, just use a 6x6 false bottom on both of the insides, if your card isn't strong enough hunnieThumpUp
You can also make that box into a suitcase just by changing the size to 6x8, I have many different box designs in my head, I really need to write some downLOL
Happy crafting

Yay! Heather, my computer finally let me thank you for the lovely project BigGrin

Karen I love Poole & the weather is glorious today. Even better that you've managed to avoid hair pulling today. Does Ben have sensory equipment in his room? They really do make some brilliant things these days as you probably know but definitely at a price!

Adele you're right, Florida is always hot & how lucky you were to have lived there. We did go in January once & it was quite fresh mornings & evenings that time of year.

Lynda I love getting rid of stuff BigGrin I've got an ebay app on my phone which makes listing super quick. if it stays still long enough for me to take a pic it gets listed LOL

Just made a wedding card for a wedding reception we're going to, it's not cricut so wont post but might put on my blog. This evening I'm going to do some batch card making with my goody bags from craftwork cards, got 3 for 2 last week. ThumpUp

Hi Esther - Yes the whole area around here is lovely. Yes we have a lot of sensory stuff and yes it costs a bomb. Managed to convince most family and friends that money is better for Ben for presents and then I can combine it and buy stuff he needs but he still prefers to line up his ducks and he collects piles of stuff that if you interrupt it he has a paddy and a half!!! LOL

I have the ebay app too but use it mostly for buying whooops LOL

Hi M1,

Adele has that cart, I have just the Black & White colour one.

Security thing sucks but I heard they will take it off again soon and just put it on after a spam bot got in on the site.

HiBigGrin
This is the only available web info regarding Baby Boutique, it is near the bottom of the very long page

Here

If I get the time later, I'll take pics of the handbook and let you see the images
