I have been trying to make cards all day. I tried a cut from Baby steps and it showed correctly on the CCR screen but when it cut it cut more than it should have. So I tried a different cart and the same thing happened. When I cut without CCR and just used my E2 it cut perfect. But without using CCR I can't get the most out of my paper. So I'm ready to bring back the E and DS. Has anyone else had problems witht hings not cutting right?

Could you show us a screen shot of what it looks like and a pic of what cut out?

I can't find the cord for my camera but i'll try to explain better. I was cutting the dress on the hanger from Baby steps. On the dress is a heart. In CCR it shows up perfect but when I cut it, it cut the heart completly out. It wasn't suppose to. Then I tried the dump truck on B is for Boys and did the first layer. There's just suppose to be a slit by the tires but it cut out a chunk. I know i'm not explaining it very well so I hope you can understand what I mean. I got to find my computer cord so I can take a pic. How do you do a screen shot? Originally Posted by: Narelle I'm not sure what you mean by "it cut more than it should have". This will help you with taking a screen shot: http://myfaqcricutds.blogspot.c...t-of-your-ds-screen.htmlI think I know what you mean now. The extra info helped. I'm going to take a look at it for you now.

Is this the dump truck? If it is, which part isn't cutting properly? Edited by user Monday, August 08, 2011 7:01:19 AM(UTC)

Thank you Narelle! I don't want to give up on CCR. I like to be able to design stuff during the day when i'm taking care of the kids I watch and then at night i just want to cut everything out. I have done the updates so I don't think that's the problem. I don't know what it is. Originally Posted by: Narelle

There is a problem with inside cut lines (web lines) on many images. When you pattern fill or cut the image, those weblines are closed off, which often results in a half circle that is treated like a complete cut path-- like this. It shouldn't matter which machine you are using, as the problem is with the image files in Craft Room. We are working on this so that these types of images will fill and cut correctly. I'm wondering if it's similar to what Mallory mentions at the bottom of post number 8 in this thread. http://community.provocraft.com...t-Room-Beta-Updates.aspx
