Are the CCR Beta and the desktop version two different things? It appears you can cut in the desktop version yet only people who have been invited to test the Beta version can cut in that.

The two versions are: The online version which you access from http://craftroom.cricut.com/betaprogram/ and clicking on the Test Drive button. You can design with this version but there is no Cut button. If you have access to this version you are a Beta Tester.  Initially emails were being sent out giving people access to that version. It appears that they may not be sending out emails any more although people are reporting that they have been given access without the email. The other version is the Desktop version. This version has the Cut button. PC were originally sending out a second email giving Beta Testers access to the Desktop version. I don't know if that is still happening. To download the Desktop version (once you have access) you need to click on the Install Craft Room Desktop App button for your type of computer (PC/Mac).
