I got my yudu yesterday, but have been researching it and asking questions for several days prior to my purchase. Yeah!! It works! Thanks so much to everyone for all your help!! I printed two shirts this evening for the club I sponsor at school. They look just as good as those we've ordered in the past!!
The emulsion sheet made me a little nervous, but the first one I tried adhered just fine. I did use my blow dryer to help speed the drying process.
The other thing I tried was printing my design on clear vellum, instead of transparencies. I think this will be cheaper in the long run. I saw this on another message board and it worked just fine.
I have never had any screen printing experience so hopefully this will provide some encouragement to other newbies out there!!
Thanks everyone!! Patty

Congrats Patty!!
I don't think we have talked about using vellum before. The trick I've learned was to print onto vellum and then give it a rub down in baby oil. It will make it transparent enough to not show through when you burn your screen but the ink stays opaque.
Do I have that right Patty? I haven't done it. Great work. Don't forget to post pics!!

Thanks for the tip! I just got my Yudu today and haven't tried it yet. So I'm soaking up all the info I can before I start using it.

After a month, I haven't regretted my purchase. I now use the liquid emulsion and have success with every screen. My family loves the shirts I am creating and I have already made a couple of birthday gifts. I would say "YES" take the plunge!!

Summer is over in Utah, and you will need something to keep you busy! It is so easy to use, even the kids will like it.
