good morning, the son of a co-worker is in afghanastan and she sends him care packages. i thought i would send my cards directly to him (thru her)to give out. sorry, got off on tangent, anyway, when you send cards over there do you make them "flat" as in not dimentional( like using pop dots)? i don't want to give them any added weight for postage. thanks and everyone have a good weekend. barb

Barb, yes we do make them mostly flat, thinner pop dots and ribbon are OK, they just can't have heavy thick embellishments that would make a bulge in the envelope, and possibly get torn going thru the postage meters. We don't use glitter, stickles are OK. In the beginning of each new theme, Pat posts a lot of details and guidelines and there is also a FAQ thread which has a lot of info too. If you have more questions, just post. That's so nice of you to send cards to your coworker's son. They are our heros indeed.
