For those of you that have had the opportunity to play in the CCR and have either the Imagine or the E2 and have been able to cut from the CCR using your machine, what has been your experience good or bad and which Cricut machine would your recommend using best for the CCR when playing with colors, layers and such. I am looking to purchase an upgrade to my original Expression, but would like to make an educated decision since is a big investment. I appreciate any feedback and thank you in advance. Happy Crafting

If you're wanting to print then the Imagine is your only choice there. I have the Imagine and the E2 and have had good experiences with both of them. Both took a bit of fiddling to get it cutting/printing correctly but once I worked out what I was supposed to be doing and I had all the drivers up to date I didn't run in to any more problems. There are still bugs - don't get me wrong - but PC are working franticly to get them exterminated so they can release the program to everyone.

Narelle, Thanks for the prompt feedback I appreciate it very much . It's going to be a difficult decision on my end but I know buy the time I decide to buy it, a lot of the kinks will have been worked out. I my Expression and Gypsy they are great products. I have been fortunate enough that I did not have the issues other people had when these first came out. I can also tell you that I have been very happy with the customer service at PC. I know they are working hard and I appreciate all their efforts. Happy Crafting Narelle, P.S. Love the new blog

I have to say I love the Imagine because it prints and cut. I find it so advantageous to have cartridges with the color palette and patterns coordinating. It has made designing cards sooo much easier. It has worked very well for me in CCR. I say: "Take the plunge!"

I have the Imagine. From what I have read the main benefit to the E2 above the Imagine is the "wireless" connection. The E2 will cut the Imagine images but does not print. I still have my Expression and I use it often. My Imagine will not cut chipboard and will not cut images on the 24" mat. So for me the Imagine was the way to go. I still use the Expression and my Personal cutter travels with me if I have to travel. My Gypsy goes to every inconvenient activity....car travel and layovers at airports. OH MY I LOVE PROVO CRAFT!
