I want to cut my own choice of words in a font that is connected (like script - but prefer something less ordinary)so I don't have to individually place letters. Which cartridge does this? Edited by user Saturday, July 02, 2011 8:37:35 AM(UTC)

None of the carts allows you to cut your own choice of words and welds them into 1 script cut. You can do this with any font from any cart only if you use Design Studio, Gypsy, or CraftRoom.

In CCR, which I assume you are alluding to, you can make any word you want from any font cart and WELD it.
In CCR, welding happens automatically, unless you say "don't weld" when the box comes up as you place letters together.
After I place my letters together in one word, I SELECT each one (select the first, then holding the CONTROL key down on your keyboard, select each successive letter of the word). After selecting everything in the word, still holding down the CONTROL key, go to the top and GROUP the letters together. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO DRAG THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER CIRCLE (WITH THE ARROWS WITHIN IT) AND MAKE ALL OF THEM RESIZE TOGETHER TO THE SIZE YOU WANT THEM TO CUT).
They should now CUT as one word. They will also CUT as one word without grouping them together. I merely like to group mine to get the size of each letter to keep in proportion with each other without having to do it with the guides at the top.

MTC and SCAL have let you do it for years. Using the fonts you already have on your computer or get for free online. Best of luck getting what you need from PC!
