I have not gotten an invite to CCR but I know that if you are using DS and are wanting to weld 2 shapes from 2 carts you have to have a jukebox but will that be the same problem with CCR

I don't have a Jukebox. It's very easy to WELD images from five carts together in CCR. I've done it and cut out my project; that is, until we can no longer CUT on our Expressions since the BUILD 50, SYNC and installing drivers. Char

I wanted to add that you can do the same thing in DS. You don't need a jukebox to cut from multiple carts, whether welded or not. You simply press Cut and DS will ask if you're using a Jukebox. Click No then it will prompt you to insert each cart used in the design, one after another (without switching the Cricut off) until it has recognised each cart. Then it will cut the design. It looks like it would be an advantge to have the jukebox for DS; AND, it will be an advantage in CCR. But, like Narelle says, if you don't have one, you have to put every cartridge in that you are using on one project. I don't mind doing that, myself. I don't think I would ever LINK all of my carts to CCR; but, if I get tired of plugging all of them in on each project, then I will be more willing to LINK when they add that feature--depending, of course, any terms that they may tack on to linking. I, personally, don't think they will tack any terms on (like they did the Gypsy) and I think they have made it clear they aren't going to do that.
