 I'm thinking I might need this machine BUT!!!  I made a bunch of "nurse tags" took them in to get laminated.....  I wander if Yourstory can laminate these????? Its a cardstock base with cardstock paperdoll and cardstock uniform(3-4 layers of cardstock) Can the machine laminate the various layers of cardstock???  Would some enabler try this and let me know how it came out?????

I'm sorry your question has been here so long without an answer! I do this often, making tags and stakes to decorate my daughter-in-law's grave. It laminates great!

As the machine can handle quite a bit... ALL laminators have issue with multiple layers. Especially all cardstock. I am leaving today on Vacation BUT... I can try it on Monday with a couple of different types of Lam sheets and let you know how it goes.

Just yesterday I laminated standard construction paper with leaf drawings outlined in school glue. The glue was meant to be raised up off the paper and then colored in with oil pastels. I was a little concerned but was pleasantly surprised. There were a couple of small bubbles on the edges. I did run the art work through three time to insure the seal was good. The glue melting was a concern but it ended up slightly melting and then dried fine.

I've laminated several little things like this. I made a book for my daughter with the alphabet on it. Each one had layers some had upwards of 5 layers. The Yourstory did very well and laminated them nicely. My trick was to run it through once - rub really good around the image. THen let cool. I then ran it back in the machine a differenty way. I ran it through 2 times and works nicely. There is a slight little gap but nothing major. I've used a coupld of brands and found no major difference. Here's an old photo of what I did.
