Hi Pat

I had a slight accident while on vacation near the end of June, I fractured my left wrist Mad. Unfortunately, this will keep me sidelined with respect to card making for a while. I will keep tabs on monthly challenges and will be back into it as soon as my hand is released and functioning (casted for 6-8 weeks).

Have my cards ready to mail. I cheated tho -- my two 11yo granddaughters actually did them. They should go out in the mail tomorrow. I think there are about 30+ going instead of the promised 25. They had a blast with them. They had a cardmaking kit and used it to put together the cards.

Hi Ladies! I haven't been able to make cards lately, but would LOVE to do some Christmas ones for the Soldiers..the thing is, I don't think I'll be able to have them done and sent out by the 29th..would they still be able to be used if it's a few days later?

This is not a problem. The holiday cards won't be sent to the units until late October, so when you get yours finished and ready to send, check back with us here or PM me to make sure where to send them. Thanks in advance

Hello! I've missed the last couple of themes due to my work but I am excited to participate in this one. Put me down for 75 Christmas cards, and I will send them to Linda G. sometime in mid-August.

Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful cards being made. I mailed my box to Linda this AM, they should be there on 9-11-11 with 315 Christmas (adult & children) and Hanukkah cards. I'm working on more children cards and will mail them when finished.
Hope everyone has a great weekend,
mommanj

Great numbers everyone and we are off to a good start for the holidays. We will be doing more holiday themes up until about October, so feel free to keep working on them.

For now though we are taking a short break while I work out some changes with our shippers. I will continue with the east coast, but we will be making changes for the central & Mntn/west. If you have not sent your cards for this theme out yet, please wait and pm me. I will get you the new address as soon as I can.

Linda & Cindy have done a fabulous job getting cards to their units, but both of them have other commitments that they need to take care of.

The next theme will start on Aug 5th and be 3 weeks. We will be doing general use cards.

Hi Central Ladies. I have not been good about keeping you informed of incoming packages but my latest package came from Minnesota, T. Hevding.

Lovely cards. I am spending some time now getting Christmas sorted and a box of and a box of general cards ready to send.

cindy

Just found another package. Peyton thanks for the cards.

I have tried to contact those that sent ship help directly to thank them but I want to thank you all for everything you do. I am lucky to have my son close to home but I would hope that if he were to be deployed he would have something like these cards to send home to his wife and sone.

Received 315 Christmas/Hanukka cards from MommaNJ (Nadine) today.

They're all gorgeous but even that many Christmas cards didn't make me feel any cooler---it's slightly over 109 degrees here today!

Thanks, Nadine!
